At Lawrence Jenkinson Opticians, eye examinations are undertaken by fully qualified and experienced Optometrists. We have our own "in house" glazing laboratory which is capable of processing most of today's sophisticated spectacle lenses and spectacle frames which means that we are able to maintain full control of all aspects of spectacle quality and workmanship.

We treat each of our clients as individuals and will only recommend those spectacle frames and lenses that are most suitable for your needs. Our opticians are trained to dispense the spectacles that are right for your looks, lifestyle and budget. We also have spectacles from our adult range that are FREE with the NHS voucher including bifocal lenses.
We provide a whole range of protective eyewear for most popular sports and the most visually hazardous jobs. Sun spectacles to prescription with UV absorbing lenses; some designs have "wrap around" lenses. Polarizing Spectacles to prescription. Photo chromic spectacle prescription lenses. Young and old alike will benefit from UV blocking spectacles.

Can you give a zero star rating, really wish you could.
Needed to have the loose hinge of my spectacles fixed, enquired at this store as wished to support local businesses. I was abruptly told that as I did not purchase the glasses at this store they would not help me. I advised them that I was willing to pay and that it was just a hinge screw that needed replacing, again I was told that they were not willing to help me as I had bought the glasses elsewhere. I enquired as to where would be able to help...their response was a blunt "I don't know!!". Customer service 0, no wonder independent stores
