Epsom Counselling Service
If you wish to book an initial consultation please call the service manager, Tracey Pennington on 07719 346 657. The Epsom Counselling Service (ECS) provides individual and couple counselling and therapy in Epsom. We opened our doors in 1999 to offer affordable, easily accessible therapy in a confidential, and safe, environment.

Additionally, since summer 2020, we offer the choice of in-person or video/phone link (subject to initial consultation) to talk to your counsellor. We continue to offer individual counselling at the heart of our service. Additionally, we offer psychotherapeutic help, looking deeper at issues that may come to light.
Services
Epsom Counselling Service is proud to be associated with Epsom Mental Health Week. This event, held within the local community, is part of a broader campaign to highlight Mental Health matters nationally. The week long event, held annually in October, is supported by many leading Mental Health and Wellbeing agencies, supporters and advocates throughout the county.
Once you have decided that it may be worth having some counselling and/or longer term therapy, the next step is to contact us at ECS (0771 934 6657) by phone or text message. Our e-mail link is experiencing technical problems at the moment so please do not e-mail. Our service manager, Tracey Pennington, will respond, liaising with you to agree a suitable time to meet for an initial consultation session at the ECS in Epsom or video/phone link.
The ECS offers counselling and therapy both as a support - as part of recovery after a crisis, trauma or difficult times, as well as a psychotherapeutic process - to reflect on, and implement, wider choices in engaging with life. Consider for a moment what it is like when you are having a difficult time, or have a particular problem - would it be useful to talk it through and share the burden?
The Epsom Counselling Service offers a focused Life Coaching program with an accredited member of the BACP (Coaching Division). The program facilitates successful resolutions, focusing through self awareness, on personal, domestic or work related issues. The key to successful personal and professional development is the ability to make constructive decisions.
The ECS is committed to providing opportunities for counselling and psychotherapy professionals to continue their personal development. Many practitioners will be familiar with Robert de Board's book, "Counselling for Toads" which used the character Toad, from the novel Wind in the Willows, as a client in therapy, with his counsellor called Heron.
