Stayed here as part of a coach holiday package having been on a similar one with the same company last year but to the Isle of Wight staying at the Trouville Hotel in Sandown . We were sadly very disappointed this time having higher expectations than we experienced there. The staff were great but the food was well below the standard we previously enjoyed and our room was basic to say the least compared to others which cost the same. Speaking to other members of the party we weren't the only ones disillusioned to find the reality didn't match the expectations the brochure portrayed. We certainly

I am not entirely sure the pictures reflect the reality exactly, although, admittedly we had a non- sea facing room. On the plus side the place is very clean and neat and the staff are really good. On the flip side, I thought the place could do with a bit of a mordern upgrade, fewer creaky floorboards, bigger lift, better doors and perhaps newer carpeting. Even though our experience wasn't bad I did not think that the place was worth the price we paid.

We stayed here over the August bank holiday weekend.
The hotel is on King Edwards Parade, and right opposite the beach. The location is awesome because you just need to cross the road to reach the beach.
The staff were all friendly and polite and there was a domestic who was just the sweetest person ever! Our room and the hotel in general was spotlessly clean.
The breakfast was not included in the stay and guests need to notify the hotel in advance if they need breakfast the next day. There are many restaurants and coffee shops nearby so we didn't have the hotel breakfast which was priced at

Really a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Eastbourne. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast is first class! Sea views are limited so book early. My only complaint is the heat in summer means rooms can be stuffy, as no air con but fans are available upon request. Free wifi and an elevator (?one set of stairs for room 31) a bar and lounge and terrace. What's not to like?
