Val's Creative Cakes have been baking cakes for families in Edinburgh for the last 5 years. I love seeing my daughter's face when I've made her the exact cake she wanted for her special day. If you need a bespoke cake for a special occasion, but you don't have time to bake it yourself, give me a shout! I really like helping people, and planning out cool cakes for them. You can pick up your cake from me in Meadowbank, or we'll deliver anywhere in Edinburgh if that makes your life easier.

About Val Report

I love baking cakes. My mum taught me when I was young and I have not stopped since then. I signed up for a few cake classes and found I was good at decorating them and learnt lots of new skills. I then started baking cakes for a local charity a couple of years ago and this allowed me to develop on my skills.

With short notice, Val made the most amazing fisherman cake for our brother's birthday. The figure was casting his line over cupcakes with sea creatures on them. The main cake was carrot which everybody rated absolutely delicious and the ginger cupcakes were beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble and we cannot rate her highly enough.

Beautiful cake! Perfect balance of flavours of chocolate and orange. Not too sweet and the sponge was not dry. Very good service, ordered for a friend as a last minute birthday surprise and the service was very nice and fast! Would recommend ☺️

An amazing looking and extremely tasty cake for my daughter and her skating club. They loved the skate and all wanted a wheel when the cake was demolished!! It is great to be able to order a totally unique cake. Highly recommended 5*****
