We are a family business set up in 2012 and based in the south of Edinburgh run by award-winning cake designer Lynne Gray. Lynne personally designs, bakes and decorates our delicious cakes to order using only fresh ingredients such as real butter, free range eggs, fresh fruit and citrus zest. We do not use artificial flavourings to make sure your cake tastes as good as it looks.
Blueberry Cakes has been inspected and is registered as a food business with City of Edinburgh Council. Lynne holds a Level 2 Hygiene certificate and is fully insured through The British Sugarcraft Guild.

Services
A standard 6" + 8" + 10" round wedding cake will give you around 70 portions or 110 if the bottom tier is a traditional fruit cake. A square cake would give around 100 portions or 150 if the bottom tier is fruit. Additional portions can be provided by adding a fourth tier however a more cost effective way is to have an undecorated 'cutting cake'.
We would be delighted to invite you to sample some of our delicious cake and discuss your ideas. Our no obligation wedding consultations generally take place at our premises but we are happy to come to you or meet at your wedding venue throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians if you prefer. This can be during the day or can easily be arranged for evenings or weekends.
Our lifelike sugar flowers and foliage are a particular speciality. When incorporated on a wedding cake they can be made to complement your bridal bouquet and wedding colour scheme. If stored or displayed away from dust and moisture and out of direct sunlight your flowers will keep for many years and provide a beautiful lasting memento of the day.
Birthday cakes, 3D novelty cakes, new baby, baby shower cakes, new home, christening cakes, gender reveal cakes, anniversary cakes. We make celebration cakes suitable for all occasions. We also provide corporate cakes. All our cakes are baked fresh to order. Just let us know who and what the cake is for and any ideas you have and we will tailor the design to suit.

Absolutely amazing, wish I could give a higher score because 5 stars are not enough!
Lynne really took the time to get to know us, and listen to everything we wanted for the design, she even came up with some suggestions that we hadn’t even thought about, but which made our wedding cake even more beautiful, and she kept us up to date with everything throughout the process,
There are so many delicious flavours to choose from, you won’t go wrong no matter which flavour you choose!
The cake was perfectly baked, and tasted just as fresh the next day when we had guests for leftovers.
