At Almond Valley Cakes, we design and supply a range of hand-made bakes, from elegant Wedding and Celebration cakes that will complement any formal occasion, to cupcakes that will stand out at any party! For weddings, as well as designing the perfect cake for you, we can also design and create a range of favours to complement your style and colour scheme.
We can help you design and create your perfect cake for your special day, and are equally happy to make suggestions or work with your own ideas. We are always happy to meet to discuss your ideas and requirements, so that together we can ensure that your cake will be everything you could wish for. We are happy to offer a free consultation for tasting various cake flavours, and for discussing the design of your cake.
From children's parties to more formal get-togethers, we can provide a range of party treats that will appeal to everyone, we can provide party treats that are sure to impress! Cupcakes can be made in any flavour and decorated in colours to suit your occasion with butter or sugar paste icing and presented in a box, to give as a wonderful gift to someone special!
Our pricing depends on the cake size and the complexity of the design, and so wedding cakes and most celebration cakes will be individually priced, but the table below provides a guide. As our cakes can be made in a variety of shapes and sizes, the following tables should help you decide which size is right for your occasion.
The answers to some frequently asked questions are provided below, but if you need clarification on anything, or you need information that isn't provided below, please do not hesitate to get in touch. How much notice is needed? We require up to 4 weeks' advance notice for a celebration cake and between 3 - 6 months for a wedding cake.

I have ordered several birthday cakes from Nikki over the years for my son and husband. They have always been absolutely fantastic, both in the way they looked and tasted! Nikki has lovingly designed lots of celebration cakes for us over the years and every one has been a triumph. Not only do they look very bespoke and personalised, they taste amazing. Before Nikki went into business we had cakes made by others which always looked good but weren't that tasty.
Nikki spends time to understand the person the cake is for and designs a unique cake to meet the brief. She cares passionately for her craft and is so easy to deal with.
I would highly recommend Almond Valley Cakes for all your celebration cakes. Oh and the cup cakes are delicious too.

Cakes designed by Nikki are absolutely amazing. The attention to detail is outstanding and I don't think there is anything that she can't design with icing and put on a cake. I have had both a 40th and 18th cakes designed that were nothing short of stunning!! Didn't want to cut into such masterpieces but glad we did as the cakes did not disappoint in taste. I would highly recommend Nikki for that special cake for birthdays, weddings and for special occasions. I chose Almond Valley Cakes to create birthday cakes for both my daughters last year. Nikki went above and beyond to make sure both were designed perfectly and tasted fantastic. I have used Nikki twice now, once for cupcakes for a baby shower and more recently for a cake for my husbands 50th birthday. Both were of excellent quality. For my husbands cake I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted but after telling Nikki what my husbands interests were she was able to pull something amazingly creative together. The cake received a lot of compliments on how good it looked and not to mention how fantastic it tasted. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Nikki again. Great service
