In the heart of Hebden Bridge, Crossley Mill Nursery provides home-from-home care for babies, toddlers and pre-school children. We understand that leaving your children in the care of others is one of the hardest things you can do, that is why back in 1998, a fully parent-led non-profit was born. At Crossley Mill there are no shareholders, there is no 'bottom line' so the only thing we invest in is your children.
My son has loved his two years with you and we've been so grateful for everything nursery have done for our boys over nearly a five year period - thanks to you all for making it such a welcoming, safe and stimulating environment. We never hesitate to recommend Crossley Mill to other parents looking for a nursery.

Services
We are a non-profit, parent led nursery. What does that mean? We are governed by an active board of parents and foster a partnership with parents at every level. The nursery is currently chaired by Adrian Bradley. In just one year we have completely redeveloped our outside spaces creating truly magical spaces for children to play in and explore.
It is the aim of Crossley Mill Holiday club to provide safe, affordable, accessible, quality childcare and play opportunities in Hebden Bridge during the school holidays. Holiday club is open Monday to Friday school holiday time only and daily sessions are from 8:30am-5.30pm. Each session costs 26 per child.

A really great nursery with excellent staff. Our son really enjoys it there and we've seen such a big step change in his progression since he's attended. The food cooked on site is fantastic and we regularly get updates on what he's been doing and his achievements. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Crossley Mill has been a superb nursery for both my children. The staff are lovely, warm and welcoming. The nursery has its own cook who creates fantastic, healthy and delicious vegetarian food. The activities are varied and interesting and as a not for profit nursery they are always looking at ways to improve the nursery experience for the children. The nursery iteself is beautiful, colourful and cosy with views overlooking the canal. I cannot praise this nursery and the staff enough.
