Grass Roots Private Day Nursery Management Team have worked closely together over the last three years developing our current business into a successful, reputable and home from home setting. My daughter had been really unsettled in her previous placement. So much so I was worried I may need to give up my job. Then grass roots opened. We had a look around, Lucy, Andrew and the whole team are so friendly. They have renovated the space so well. We initially started her one day a week, and within a month it was like they had worked magic, they were quickly undoing her fear of us leaving, she was not just OK but happy to goto nursery.

We will provide a happy, friendly, stimulating and positive environment where your child can reach their full potential. We are a newly established family setting with a passion and drive for providing excellent childcare.
Our warm, secure and friendly atmosphere provides a range of benefits. These include a homely feel, lots of floor space to encourage mobility and a range of engaging activities. This self contained room also has the benefit of its own kitchen area. This consisting of a variety of amenities, which help to ensure we have everything on hand to meet your child's needs.
This room is divided from the The Meadow (preschool room) which allows the children to see and hear the older children. It has a range of activities and areas on offer including a quiet, calm and cosy reading area, a climbing wall and slide, small world pretend play, sand and water, painting and playdough.

Lovely lovely lovely nursery - we’ve been here 2 years and leave next week which will be very sad as they have done an amazing job in not only providing superb childcare but always go the extra mile in… providing different activities such as trips on buses, walks in the area round nursery as well as getting Seth ready for his next adventure at school. Nothing was ever too much trouble in sorting extra sessions out and with the app they use it was really handy to see what meals etc had been ate and what activities they’ve been up to. So Thankyou so much to the whole team at grassroots

The most amazing Nursery, couldn't ask for better. My son moved to Grassroots during Covid Lockdown and it has been an absolute blessing! My son has gone from not wanting to go into his previous setting to running to get in the door at Grassroots. He has grown and thrived during his time and I now feel that thanks to Grassroots he is ready for big school. A massive thank you to Lucy and her brilliant team.

This nursery has got to be by far the best! all the staff are so lovely and caring, they did really well helping settle my daughter in she now loves going and loves all her new friends, she would go everyday if she could! i am so grateful for there help and care they put in with my daughter and i would definitely recommend this nursery to all other parents that are looking into nurseries you will not regret it!x

I honestly couldn't be any happier with this Nursery. I had my little girl in a 5 star rated nursery elsewhere...and she was one very unhappy girl & would not settle at all. So I made the decision to move her to Grass Roots. And with in 2 weeks she was more settled than ever! Waking up every morning asking to go & not wanting to leave!! The staff are amazing, so friendly, helpful & welcoming ! Ithe setting is amazing & the outdoor space is great too! I feel so happy when I leave my little girl in their care. I was so happy I made the choice to also send my baby boy there who is only 4 months old

Lovely nursery with great staff. My little girl loves going and is always smiling and happy when I drop her off and pick her up. My little boy also goes to the holiday club and loves it, they do so much fun things. The most reasonably priced in the area too. I feel happy and confident when leaving my 2 here, would highly recommend
