Foot care (podiatry) services provide assessment, treatment and advice for people with skin, nail or mechanical foot problems, and for people with diabetes. A Podiatrist is skilled, trained and educated to assess, diagnose and treat problems of the foot and associated structures. We recommend annual foot checks for all members of the family.
Your first visit to our clinic is an important one, where we can get to know you a bit better and work on treatment and advice to keep your feet healthy. The appointment usually takes around 45 minutes in total but can stretch to an hour in some cases. On arrival, we will check you are feeling fit and well before inviting you into the clinic.
Sometimes, all you need is a nail cut and file to get your feet feeling fresh and healthy again. We offer a toenail cutting service aimed at keeping your nails neat and at a decreased risk of becoming ingrown and needing surgery at a later date. Following the full initial assessment, we carry out a basic nail cut and file treatment as required.
