Patients need to reschedule their appointment if they are feeling unwell with the following symptoms, runny nose, sore throat, headaches, fever, cough and loss of smell / taste. Masks are still required when entering Poole Foot Clinic, until further notice from The Royal College of Podiatry. I have a duty of care to all my patients, so if you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.
To maintain registration I have to prove Continuing Professional Development, by attending Podiatry Conferences and study days on various specialities relating to Podiatry. To comply with NICE guidelines and infection control measures. I have been caring for people since the age of 18, originally as an SRN and then as a Podiatrist.

Services
I changed professions at the age of 29 because of lower back problems. I graduated at the Wessex School of Podiatry in 1992 with a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine. I spent 22 years working part time for the NHS gaining a wealth of Podiatrist skills, including the management of diabetic foot ulcers. At the age of 18, I trained for 3 years to become a State Registered Nurse (SRN but now known as RGN) at Poole Hospital.
A foot ulcer is an open sore on the foot some are deep some are not. A deep foot ulcer may be a cavity that extends through the full thickness of the skin. It may involve tendons, bones and other deep structures. People with diabetes or people with poor circulation are more likely to develop foot ulcers.

Been taking my feet to Bridget's for a while now and will undoubtedly continue. I like a specialist person to keep a check following past problems with ingrown toenails. Bridget is very professional and helpful and it was good to be able to go somewhere safe for appointments through the past year or so, as it was obvious that the business was operating within the strict guidelines required. Thank you, see you soon. Sue.

Great experience π―% recommended. Itβs baby steps throughout any treatment/ operation. They speak to you in a genuinely nice manner and are very accommodating. I felt relaxed and at ease throughout the whole time there. The place is comfortable, clean and affordable. They were able to treat my ingrown toe nail and recognised the urgency for treatment. Much love for them all, their hard work really shows with how they operate and conduct themselves. Quite happily visit again, if I ever needed them.Thank you so much!! Definitely will have a spring in my step after this is healed! π

I went to see Bridget for the first time today due to an ingrowing toenail.
Bridget was amazing. Caring, professional and extremely knowledgeable and was able to resolve the problem quickly.
Very safe environment, felt immediately at ease.
I've even booked my husband for an appointment.
Thank you Bridget, at last I'm pain free.

Bridget fitted me in at short notice and was amazing. I had had a problem for several months with a corn (or so I thought) on the bottom of my foot but Bridget managed to pull out a foreign body that had become embedded without any pain at all! She is so caring and professional. I would recommend her without hesitation. Thanks Bridget.

My first ever appointment with a Podiatrist. I found Poole Foot Clinic on an internet search and it proved a very good choice. Bridget did a great job with my nails a couple of which had proved very hard to cut for me and also she removed some hard skin . Very friendly, professional and thorough and gave some great advice over on-going toe nail and foot skin care. Even to the extent of proving how my having one foot slightly larger that the other was causing one shoe to be in closer contact to the foot and thereby contributing to hard skin developing on that foot. I will not hesitate to go back

Bridget booked a same day appointment when I enquired about treatment for an ingrown toenail. Bridget is very professional, but retains empathy and is gentle with her treatment. At no time did she cause more pain than I was already in. The fees are very reasonable too. I am already feeling relief and the pain is easing. Thank you Bridget for your professional, caring treatment. I will certainly recommend your services
