Services
At your first visit I will take your medical history and your feet will be assessed. This will comprise of a vascular, neurological, dermatological and foot function assessment where appropriate. We will discuss your concerns, agree a treatment plan and carry out treatment to address your problem. A general treatment that will address all the basic needs for your feet.
A verruca is caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and is transmitted by contact, often from a swimming pool or changing room floor. Infection only occurs when the skin is broken and the virus invades skin cells and incubates, usually for many weeks or months. As it replicates, it causes overproduction of skin cells, resulting in a 'warty' appearance.
Foot mobilisation is a painless technique that offers a long term solution for many foot problems. Gentle hands on mobilisation of the feet and ankle combined with soft tissue massage stimulates your body's natural ability to repair. Foot mobilisation is a long term solution to foot pain and an improvement is normally felt immediately following your first session.
Hard corns are small concentrated areas of thickened skin and occur in response to pressure or friction. Symptoms are often likened to 'walking on a stone' and can be extremely painful. Corns occur over bony areas such as joints and can be problematic in people with toe deformities where rubbing occurs in footwear.
Fungal infections of the nails are also known as onychomycosis, or tinea unguium. This is usually the same fungus that causes fungal infection of the skin. In fungal skin infections the fungus lives in the keratin that makes up the outer layer of the skin. When the fungus spreads to the keratin of the nails, the result is a fungal nail infection.

Crucially given the hot weather of July 2018 and resulting yucky foot (I’ll spare you more details!) I was able to secure a next day appointment at Sole Solutions, over-the-counter cream from the Pharmacist having already failed. I only needed one half-hour appointment plus a few more pounds for a spray, and five days later everything was under control again, as the chiropodist at Sole Solutions predicted. She was also very pleasant and amiable, great service and expertise thank you!
