Our eye examinations are always carried out in a professional and friendly manner with our Optometrists making sure that every patient fully understands the outcome of the examination. On the occasions that new spectacles are required the Optometrist will discuss the benefits of various frame and lens options as to which type would be most suitable for each individual's lifestyle.
We both fit and supply many types of contact lenses. You are more than welcome to pop in or phone for a chat to discuss which would be most suitable for you. One of the advantages of independent practices like ours is that we can order our contact lenses from any supplier and our not bound by agreements to use a single or just a couple suppliers.
Cataract - A Cataract is a clouding of the lens inside your eye. Your vision becomes blurred as it is as if you are looking through a bathroom window. Often cataracts take many years before they require surgery. If surgery is required, a surgeon will remove the cataract lens through a small hole and replace it with a clear artificial lens.
