European legislation makes it mandatory for employers to provide an examination for all VDU users.

I have just had an eyesight test and purchased a pair of glasses and have to say what an exceptional service I received. From booking to leaving, the professionalism shown was outstanding. I received a call yesterday to remind me of the appointment. I was dealt with immediately on arrival. The girls on the reception were friendly and helpful and the optician was brilliant. I would highly recommend and just sorry I haven't used them previously.

It’s been 2yrs since I attended Instore, Whitfield, a visit I’ll not forget, Ingrid pleasant + helpful, optician not friendly + rushed my eye check to go for his lunch, Sadia Hakim, downright rude to the point of breaking the arm on my glasses, objected to replace it + grudgingly replaced my glasses, insulted my financial situation because I was using an NHS voucher due to recently having stuffed a severe medical condition, thanks for that, I’m still under a consultant. Definitely will not return. I hope your readers enjoy my frank but honest review.

I had a very sore eye and thought best to get it checked out. The lady on reception got me an immediate appointment. It turned out i had a deep scratch on my cornea which needed hospital treatment. The customer service from both the optician and the lady on reception was excellent, they seemed to be genuinely concerned for my welfare when at the shop and even rang me later to ask how i went on at the hospital. There was even no charge for the eye check! Would highly recommend.
