All our optometrists and dispensing opticians are individually registered with the General Optical Council. The OCT scan enables us to observe your eye in a completely new way. It gives depth to our image and the ability to separate the different layers at the back of the eye. In general, better decisions are made when better information is available. With the increased quality and quantity of information achieved with the OCT we are empowered to do an even better job.
These measurements are sent to a laboratory to make up the lenses using the information from your 3D images. The outcome is a bespoke individual lens designed exactly for you. With this new lens design we have very few people who do not adapt to their new varifocal lenses, even people who have had problems adapting to other designs.
We are in Swinton, but on the Worsley side of the East Lancs Road A580 and not in the town centre. Keep on this road (Worsley Road) to cross straight over a mini roundabout in about 300 yards. We are on the left in approx. 150 yards, the last house in the second terrace of Victorian houses, on the corner of Houghton Lane.

Andrew and Janet are fantastic.They invest heavily in state of the art equipment and are one of the few opticians in Manchester to have an optical coherence tomography machine that provides cross sectional images of the retina. You know you are in the best of hands here.
