Trentham Golf Club's Open Championship Qualifying course is one of the finest in Staffordshire, the Midlands and North West. Members and Visitors are able to enjoy a golfing experience both on and off the course, with facilities that few other clubs can match.
Having hosted Open Championship Qualifying, England Golf and Staffordshire County events for both men, ladies and juniors. In 2019, the 125th anniversary, the club was proud to host no less than 5 WAGR events. We are proud to have signed up to the Women in Golf Charter.

Unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing rounds of golf I have played in a very long time.
Course layout was great but the greens were possibly the worst greens I have played on in a very very long time.
There were holes all over the greens, lines indented into them and to top it off there was more sand on there than half the bunkers.
There was no mention of how bad they were other than there are 3 greens not so good….. turned out they were temp greens which we weren’t told about.
To top it off, there were guys working around the greens, absolutely no golf etiquette what so

I played as a guest here yesterday, the whole day starting with the welcome by the staff to when we left after dinner was too class. The food was very nice and all freshly cooked.
The course was in great condition, it was very tidy. We played during a short but heavy downpour, the course drained very quickly and we could carry on enjoying our game.
I look forward to going back!
