Leek Golf Club is situated in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands on the A520 and is one of Staffordshire's best known golf courses. For over a century, players have enjoyed our course and we continually endeavour to meet the demands of the modern golfer. We can offer you year-round golf on a course with tree lined fairways, undulating greens and fantastic views.
We encourage both new and established players. If you are new to the game our Academy offers excellent value, including 1:1 teaching sessions in a purpose built teaching area and 10 rounds of golf. Any costs associated with the Academy are offset against your initial fees. Our Professional Greg Rogula is well known in the County as an exciting young player and teacher, and his students really enjoy their lessons with him.

Services
The first record of Leek Golf Club being in existence is in 1892, when the club registered with the Royal and Ancient Golf Club. It is one of the oldest clubs in the Country, and along with 27 other clubs, is a member of the 1892 Club; an organisation which allows other members from the 1892 club to play on their course.
Having retired from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service after more than 30 years' service, I have been a member of Leek Golf Club for the last six years. I feel incredibly privileged to have been invited to be the Captain of such a prestigious club. I am confident that our new board of directors will oversee what is an exciting time of change.
Our course offers outstanding views towards the Peak District and provides eighteen distinctly individual challenges with no crossing fairways or blind holes. It is a compact course set on less than 100 acres yet still provides over 6000 yards in length with a SSS of 71. Our course design provides four convenient starting points, which removes the need for members to reserve tee times for social golf.
Yet, today there are six different handicap systems used around the world. Each is well developed and successfully provides equity for play locally, but each of the different systems produces slightly differing results when calculating players' handicaps. The WHS will encompass both the Rules of Handicapping and the Course Rating System (formerly known as the USGA Course Rating and Slope System).
CONGRATULATIONS to all Prize Winners and thank you to all those who took part in our 2021 Captain's Charity Competition. Only two twos were made during the competition and 12 golf balls went to Lisa Hall and Jillian Morris - well worth entering for a 1. Thank you to all those who took part in our Ladies Open, we hope to see you all next year.

Played the Belfry Wednesday then played leek Friday, much prefer leek, every hole a signature hole. Very well maintained ,lovely greens, couldn't fault leek gc in any way. After our round we went in the clubhouse to be greeted by the club captain Arthur who made us so welcome, l would certainly join this club if I lived within reach. If visiting the area this course is a must.

Well maintained course and thoroughly enjoyable round of golf. Mostly elevated tee boxes, hitting onto elevated greens. Greens were a challenge to get the ball to stop on them, but expected with the dryer conditions. Equally challenging and a visitor friendly course. Would recommend highly and will be back!
