Benhall PreSchool opened in 1981 and operates from an open plan modular build next to the primary school. There is a secure enclosed outside play area which is fully accessible. The PreSchool is registered to care for a maximum of 30 children at any one time and supports children with additional needs.
Each child in the setting has a key person who will take an extra special interest in your child; learning their likes and dislikes, their family, friends and any special events etc. They will take a big role in helping to settle your child at first and also continue to reassure and support your child when necessary.

Services
We have a very strong staff base here at Benhall, all our staff regularly update their safeguarding including British Values and Prevent Duty, Food Hygiene and First Aid Training. We are all committed to constantly improving our knowledge through training courses to enhance the learning and experiences of our setting.
We want your child to feel happy and safe at the PreSchool. To make sure that this is the case, the staff will work with you to decide on how is best to help your child settle in. Upon registration we will provide you with an All About Me booklet for you to fill out with your child. Once completed we ask for you to return this to us so that your child's key person will gain more insight in to how best to support your child.
We provide an environment in which all children, including those with Additional Needs, are supported to reach their full potential. All members of staff are responsible for this but our designated Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator (SENCO) is Rebecca Asher. Please don't hesitate to contact Rebecca if you would like further information regarding SEN provision at Benhall Pre School.
Being a Charity run Preschool, we are constantly having to raise money to improve and maintain our lovely building and resources. To do this, we fundraise in a number of ways, such as cake sales, Easter egg hunts, sponsored events like pancake flips, biggest conkers, best pumpkins etc. Also look out for our stall at local events in and around Benhall.
