Services
Two members of staff will remain at the pre-school with any child who has not been collected. We will make every attempt to contact parents and all emergency contacts for 45 minutes, whilst constantly reassuring your child. However, after 45 minutes, we will contact necessary professional agencies, to inform them that we have a child who has not been collected.
A child who is tense or unhappy will not be able to play or learn properly, so it is important for parents and pre-school staff to work together to help the child to feel confident and secure in the group. This takes longer for some children than for others and parents should not feel worried if their child takes a while to settle in.
At our preschool we try to keep our fees as low as possible, this means that fundraising is very important to maintain our facilities. Without fundraising we would not be able to make improvements within the cabin and our garden. In 2017 we raised a fantastic amount as with this we made great improvements in our garden space with an artificial turf area, meaning the children can enjoy the garden all your round.
Each year we run an anonymous survey of our parents and carers to understand how our pre-school is performing in meeting the needs of their children, as well as looking at areas we could improve in the future.
