I teach traditional Hatha Yoga to people of all ages and abilities in Chippenham, Calne, Melksham, Devizes, Bromham, Derry Hill, and Pewsham. Mixed classes take place in community buildings, such as schools and social centers. I want to make yoga available and accessible to people within the everyday context of ordinary life: work, family, relationships, home.
I also teach one-to-one classes, school groups and corporate lifestyle and well-being courses. The Lansdowne Hall has ample space for socially distanced yoga mats, so class numbers can now get back to normal. Currently there can be more fluidity for those of you who need to attend a different class every now and then.

I enjoyed yoga at 23, was I too old to start again at 53? No, Suzanne adapts her style of yoga for any age. I have amazed myself, my whole being has benefited from yoga with Suzanne once a week - my body, my mind and my spirit. I am me again! Suzanne acts like a mirror - reflecting back to you exactly how your body is looking, and with one or two little tweaks, turns a leg-trembling pose into something quite comfortable.
Classes are mixed ability, meaning that experienced students are in the same class as beginners. The regulars are used to new people joining in and help to create an open, welcoming environment for practice. Everyone is encouraged to work within their own ability and to listen to their bodies. Being part of a class is important as you can learn from other's questions and from seeing the their work.
God regards with merciful eyes not what you are nor what you have been, but what you wish to be. The most important pieces of equipment you need for doing yoga are your body and your mind. Yoga, an ancient but perfect science, deals with the evolution of humanity. This evolution includes all aspects of one's being, from bodily health to self-realisation.
Yoga benefits many areas of our lives. Medical research and the media repeatedly tell us that practicing yoga with a qualified and experienced teacher can improve your physical, mental, and emotional health. A yoga session can improve you sense of wellbeing, reduce your stress-levels and nurture a greater sense of self-esteem by handing you the space to relax, the calm to reflect and the skills to rebuild.
