Tricia offers a free initial phone consultation to assess your yoga needs, lots of personal attention, an individually tailored practice and yoga tuition and advice especially tailored to you. She also teaches beginner yoga classes in sports centres, gyms and for the University and is happy to cover yoga classes while teachers are on holiday.

Tricia Daniel BSc (Hons) has practised yoga since 1978 and started teaching in 2002. She obtained the Integral Yoga teaching qualification at the Bath Integral Yoga Centre in 2001. Her 28 years of yoga practice includes Viniyoga, Integral Yoga, Sivananda Yoga, Therapy Yoga and Chi Gung (gentle breathing and movement practices from the Tai Chi tradition).
I really enjoy Tricia's yoga classes. Unlike other yoga classes I have been to, there is no pressure to be able to do all the positions, you can move completely at your own pace; and you are always offered alternative positions, using cushions if required. Tricia is a very kind, attentive and knowledgeable teacher.
With GentleLight Yoga, yoga poses are adapted and modified to help people with specific or persistent health problems. The postures are kept very simple. Most postures are done lying down on the floor to encourage the whole spine to release and relax. Sitting in chairs is encouraged for those who cannot sit on the floor with ease.
Yoga is the oldest holistic system of personal development. It is a practical method of self-unfoldment which balances the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of ourselves. Yoga is comprised of postures, breathing exercises and meditation. The postures stretch, tone and strengthen muscles, joints and spine.
