The 1:4 group classes have proved to be very popular. These sessions are ideal for individuals who are returning to exercise after a long break, are in recovery from injury or surgery, working with chronic health conditions, or simply prefer the dynamic of a small group. With four people per class you will receive plenty of personal attention, and be able to progress at your own pace.
This course explores the fundamentals of yoga at a gentle pace. There will be lots of guidance and explanation of the methods and terms, time for questions and a respect for individual needs. You will learn foundation yoga poses, breathing techniques, meditation and many of the underlying principles of the practice which will allow you to continue to grow, learn and take care of your body and mind.
The arrival of a new baby is a precious and life changing experience that is full of amazing discoveries. Mum and baby get to know each other and build a strong bond that to carry with them throughout their lives. This course offers the time for mum to recover from childbirth whilst being able to develop the strong mum and baby connection.
This course is for those who have already done a Beginners and Beginners Plus course but wish to continue their practice further with the commitment of a course or indeed perfect for someone who hasn't practised Yoga for a while and feels a bit rusty. Guidance will be given in breathing and meditation.

I have attended in person and also via zoom in lockdown. The building is a lovely relaxing space and it feels like a treat to go there. Lovely staff, very supportive and friendly. I have done yoga else where and not clicked with the teacher so much. Zoom yoga and baby massage have been great with the lovely Chie (a life save during lockdown to have some mother and baby activities)

I’m thoroughly enjoying Chie’s online Prenatal Yoga classes and would recommend them to anyone who is expecting. Chie is an excellent instructor, very clear and calm and I always feel both relaxed and like I’ve worked hard at the end of a class. I’m so glad that the online classes are available throughout this period of lockdown to enable us to carry on with effective preparation for the arrival of our little ones. Thank you Chie

I did many prenatal yoga sessions with Chie who is an amazing instructor - so patient, friendly, knowledgeable and calm.
Prenatal yoga taught me many techniques - stretches, breathing exercises and relaxation which helped me throughout my pregnancy and during my labour.
I really recommend prenatal yoga with Chie! Not only does she teach you these amazing and useful techniques it is also a great way to meet over mums to be :)

I would thoroughly recommend the Santosha studio. I started a six week pre-natal yoga class about three weeks before the lockdown, so we had half the sessions in the really lovely studio, and the other half online, which I think has worked amazingly well. I actually booked a block of four extra classes, and will keep booking until the baby arrives… in the next couple of weeks! It's been a great way of connecting with other mums-to-be, and Chie is a fantastic teacher. Patient, kind, attentive and so genuine. I've loved it and look forward to continuing in some way in the future, and after

I completed Chie's 200 hour yoga teacher training in July at the Santosha studio. An amazing experience, great teaching and guidance through all aspects of yoga, including an in depth instruction on anatomy by Fiona, an essential for any one wishing teach yoga. I came away with an increased understanding of yoga and an even greater love of it. Chie is a wonderful caring and knowledgeable teacher and I would recommend her.🙂
