Jack & Jill Pre School
We can't permit visits or open days at the moment, but we can arrange a talk with our lovely supervisor to help you get a feel for what we are all about at Jack and Jill. Situated in the grounds of Mill Lane School, we are an independent Pre-school established in 1978, and are a member of the Early Years Alliance.

We offer a welcoming, nurturing, happy and safe environment where every individual is valued and encouraged to feel like they belong. We create stimulating indoor and outdoor play spaces that encourage creativity, exploration, discovery and independence. We welcome children from the age of 3 and support them to develop skills, attitudes and self-confidence for their next stage of education.
Services
Jack and Jill Pre-school was started in 1978 and is an established part of the community in Chinnor. Our current building was opened in 1992 and provides safe and stimulating learning environments inside and outside. We plan all our activities in accordance with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
Our small grounds have safe and secure play areas which we use daily, and also a small garden area where children can play and grow flowers and vegetables. In 2018 we installed artificial grass in our back garden area which means children can play safely all year-round.

We are proud of our building and grounds and also of our superb view and we encourage all of our children to care for and respect the environment, both inside and outside the building. The Pre-school belongs to the families who use it and they are the members of the Jack & Jill Pre-school Association, as well as the Early Years Alliance, our umbrella organisation.
All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours free early education (570 hours per year). You can use these from the term after your child turns 3 with a pre-school, school, childminder or day nursery. Your child may have a mix of sessions (morning session, afternoon session or all day session to include lunch), up to the 15 hours allocation per week, subject to availability.
