CHUF welcomes children from two years old to school entry age. CHUF in Chearsley is held in Chearsley Village Hall where we have been running as a pre-school since 1968. Both pre-schools have fantastic outside play areas and we provide children with an exciting environment in which to learn. We welcome visits to meet the staff and to see the children enjoying themselves in the happy, secure and supportive environment that CHUF provides.
Services
CHUF is a registered charity our number is 1019818 and we are a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance- a national organisation formed to support groups that cater for the under-fives. CHUF is registered with Ofsted. CHUF provides a structured, learning group with our main aim being for the children to enjoy themselves, and at the same time to learn at their own pace in a warm and friendly environment.
Our team is designated to work at either Chearsley or Haddenham but come together on areas such as training and team briefings so that we have consistency across our pre-schools. The majority of our team hold child care qualifications, and all our team members are kept up to date with current thinking and legislation through continued training.
CHUF is a charity and we rely on fundraising to buy extra equipment and materials for our pre-school. We have a dedicated committee who helps us to manage the pre-schools and organises all of the fundraising events but we often need extra help at these to ensure they run smoothly. If you would like to join the committee please email info@chufpreschool.co.uk.
All you have done for our son to help him grow means so much, and we cannot thank you enough. Our son will miss you so much, but we know it's time for a new adventure.' He has absolutely loved his time with you and we are so grateful for the incredibly nurturing and kind way that you all look after the children.
