The Mount, as the name suggests, stands on the mount at the end of the village of Stanton, near Broadway. It is one of the prettiest & idyllic unspoilt villages in the Cotswolds with its ancient houses built from the honey coloured limestone quarried from Shenberrow Hill above the pub.
The pubs unique position provides the most spectacular panoramic views across the Vale of Evesham towards the Malvern Hills & even the Black Welsh mountains beyond. On a summer's evening it is the most perfect spot to watch the sunset & enjoy a pint of Donnington Brewery's traditional ale.

Services
Special praise to Donnington, which actually beats the bargain prices of pubs brewing their own beer. Donnington, based at a picturesque ancient watermill, operates in Gloucestershire, not a particularly cheap area, and has some delightful pubs - no less than ten of them in this edition, including two splendid main entries.
On near the border of Worcestershire and Gloucestershire The Mount Inn is ideally placed, we have a host of interesting places and activities in the area. With the beautiful villages of Broadway, Winchcombe and Stanton itself, there are many great places to explore. Below you will find a small selection of the great activities on offer in the area such as walking and horse riding you can even play boules, darts and dominoes at the pub!
Our chefs are professionally trained with experience working in some of the finest establishments to the highest of standards. We are very proud of our food. We have plenty of room for events and functions, with a traditional beer garden at the front and an open space behind the pub. We also have plenty of parking!

Signs said car park closed but pub open - yet when I get wet paint on me the landlady acted as if it were my fault and we should have guessed that the pub was closed. Very unfriendly - avoid. Edit: the footpath gate was open, the door past the sign with the opening times was open, I neither tried any other doors nor needed to. I was very polite and even apologised, though it was not my fault.

One of the most beautiful place we've seen in England. Based at the top of the hill with incredible view over Stanton. The ladies working there are super polite and helpful. Is a very clean and organised place with the garden looking over Stanton. Superb! Thank you for a peaceful and welcoming experience.

Only sat outside, on the newly built terrace decking extension, but that was great, as the view across to the Malvern hills is absolutely stunning - worth going just to see it. The wife was surprised and somewhat disappointed that the friendly but uninformed waiting staff apparently had never heard of a Bloody Mary.

Visited here today following a recommendation from a friend who is a local. I couldn’t recommend it more! The views, the food, the staff - all of which were perfect! We ordered fish and chips, pork belly, burger and veggie burger. All were amazing and so tasty and big portions. The pub overlooks the beautiful village and I’d highly recommend sitting outside on the terrace and taking it all in. We hiked up to the Broadway Tower and this was such a lovely end to a fantastic day in the Cotswolds ❤️
