Services
With the pub capacity at around 40 we always recommend booking a table in advance. Our wonderful French chef Christophe creates Comforting & Delicious dishes for lunch and dinner using the finest locally sourced ingredients. We strive to provide excellent customer service, and we are more than happy to provide any dietary requirements such as gluten free, vegan or vegetarian menu options.

We met friends for Sunday lunch. It's a small pub but couldn't fault the food for quality, quantity or value. The Canadian couple who own it are really friendly and served us promptly; nothing was too much bother. Two of us had roast pork, two had beef; it was all excellent quality, delicious and tender. Then they were the roasties 😋 We all decided to go back soon to sample the weekday offerings. Brilliant place.

We were in the Cotswolds for a weekend break and had left it too late to book a table for a Saturday evening meal and everywhere we called were already booked. The Plough had good reviews and so were pleased they had a table available. When we arrived we were the only ones there but recieved a pleasant welcome. We chose to order from the Festive Menu and were very pleased with the food. The starters were both well presented, tasty and filling. But best of all was the Roast Turkey main course with all the trimmings. One of the best we've ever had. Real thick slices of tasty turkey, fantastic roast

Lovely, very small and cosy English pub. Lots of extra seats in the heated and covered outside. Very good choice on the menu and our food was lovely. I would highly recommend the poutine(chips, cheese and gravy) but maybe not as a starter like i had as i was too full up by the time my main arrived! Highly recommended

Decided to pop in while passing through the area. Cute little pub with a relaxing atmosphere. I ordered the Plough bacon cheeseburger. It was cooked to perfection, arguably one of the best burgers I have ever had. My partner had the vegetable Wellington, I had some and it tasted delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

It's a nice pub. The food is good and the service is good. My only complaint is that the mother, who seems like a nice lady, insists on setting up her laptop, and all her stuff, on a table near the fire. Why she does this I have no idea as it does not look good, and it takes away a place where customers could sit

We had such a lovely Sunday lunch here. The food was great with very generous portions, and the staff were exceptional. Our waitress was very good and friendly, and one of the proprietors was so generous in helping us celebrate my FIL's birthday by plating and bringing out a cake that we had brought. It was a really lovely meal in a great location
