Early Birds Pre School
Early Birds Pre-School, nestled right in the heart of the beautiful Cheshire village of Bunbury, offers children a warm, nurturing and fun setting to achieve the very best from their pre-school years. Our dedicated and caring team make sure Early Birds is a lively and exciting place to be, whilst ensuring the children learn the important social and educational skills they will need to go on to school.

The children, confident in a safe and secure environment learn through play and a well balanced, varied curriculum to achieve the very best they can and at the same time throughly enjoy their pre-school years. The best way to decide if Early Birds is right for your child is to come and see us at work and play.
Services
Early Birds Pre-School was founded as Bunbury Playgroup in 1969. Since this time the Pre-School has established a reputation as an excellent provider of Early Years education, providing opportunities for children in the important pre-school years within a supportive, happy and stimulating environment.
Early Birds ethos has always been to provide a safe, secure and loving environment where the children learn through play. We have a daily routine which ensures a feeling of consistency and security, but allows for both spontaneous and planned activities with your child.

Ativities are varied and engaging and your child has the opportunity to explore our extensive range of resources, all selected to link to our curriculum, the 'EYFS' and to give the children a rich experience whilst with us.
Bills will be issued at the beginning of each term and payment must be received within the first two weeks of the term restarting. Special arrangements can be made to pay half termly or weekly if necessary - please speak to Gillian or Hilary in confidence.

In the term after a child's third birthday they become eligible to receive up to 15 Free hours of Early Education Entitlement (FEEE) from the County Council and an additional 15 free hours for working parents. The free pre-school hours must be taken over 2 days. Parents can opt to use these "Free Hours" at Early Birds.
Early Birds have teamed up with easyfundraising.org.uk to raise additional funds for Early Birds at no extra cost to you, all we ask you to do is access your chosen online shop via the easyfundraising website first. Simply register with easyfundraising.org.uk and access your chosen retailer site via the link on the easyfundraising website, then Early Birds will receive a donation from easyfundraising based on a percentage of your purchase.
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is the time in your child's life between birth and age 5 and contains seven areas of learning and development. Children should mostly develop the 3 prime areas first. The three prime areas are those most essential for your child's healthy development and future learning as they grow.

I cannot sing Early Birds praises highly enough. The staff are amazing. Always warm and welcoming. They all work together very well as a team and parents and carers are made to feel part of that team. The setting is always alive with exciting activities for the children, both inside and out. My granddaughter has been given huge support and encouragement and she has grown in confidence and ability as a result. Thank you Early Birds.

My little boy (aged 2) started Early Birds last November. He and I were made to feel very welcome and he settled in very quickly due to the excellent staff. His social skills and speech have come on so well since being there. There is a strong sense of community within the preschool which is very supportive. The staff are happy to meet with parents whenever is needed and they have clear goals and action plans for the children which are developed collaboratively with the parents. A fantastic preschool!

Early Birds is a great village pre-school. They have given my toddler such confidence, he’s really come on developmentally since attending. The staff are caring & friendly. They help the children to learn & explore in new ways each week & I like that it’s in the school setting, it’ll help with the transition from pre-school to primary school.

I have been hugely impressed with the level of care and compassion shown to my little boy Henry who is now 4. He has been through allot with his father passing away and all of the team have offered him outstanding care and emotional support. We wouldn't have got through it without them. His confidence and physical ability have come on greatly and his speech is unrecognisable since he started. The team are fantastic! An extended part of our family and my little girl who is 2 cant wait to start after Easter!

Earlybirds provide a safe, nurturing environment which has enabled my children to thrive. With regular feedback and support whenever needed. My eldest started school in September of this year, the transition has been seamless, the support he had on the lead up with his self-help skills meant he began school confident and able. I couldn’t recommend highly enough.
