Services
This encourages the development of children's emotional and physical development though outdoor play, activities and exploration in a woodland environment. We will undertake activities such as den making, bug hunting, tree rubbings and lots of other fun activities. Many activities will be spontaneous and based on the children's interests as we are in the outdoor environment.
At Newton Park we encourage children's development by providing all of the children with interesting activities that are appropriate for their age and stage of development. We provide stimulating activities for the appropiate ages, using a large varity of fun and educational resources. Children are also encouraged to join in with festivals, events and activities througout the school year, and take part in sports day's, graduation concerts ect.
At Newton Park we provide the children with extra curriculum actvities weekly (at an extra cost to parents). We have diddi dance, Astars sports and JoJingles. They have attended the setting for over a year now and are hugely popular with the children. Below please see an individual description of what our extra curriculum activities have to offer.
This we feel will ensure the setting is more child-led. We have completely re-structured our way of storing our equipment in order to ensure the children are given more free choice during play. This we hope will give a more enabling environment and will allow the children to explore and investigate through their play.
