Burnbank Lodges is located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and provides a perfect base for exploring this beautiful area. After a busy day exploring, arrive back at your lodge ready to relax and unwind on your balcony or patio area. Our 4.5 acre site has rivers on two sides and it's own natural woodland, meaning the only sounds keeping you up at night will be the owls hooting and the rivers flowing.
All of the lodges are set in private woodland on the banks of the River Spean and have a mix of river or woodland views. On a clear day you will also be able to spot a mountain or two from the river bank. The lodges are all fully equipped with everything you need for a self-catering break. And because they all sleep just two adults, you can be sure of a quiet and peaceful location.

We are Campbell and Nina, and along with our two young sons, we will be your Hosts during your stay with us. After a combined 32 years living and working in London, we decided to relocate back to the Scottish Highlands where Campbell grew up. We have made a good start, but of course Rome wasn't built in a day.
Burnbank Lodges' guests are well provided for in Spean Bridge with a convenience store, post office and eateries. The village has two cafes: The Bridge Cafe and Spean Bridge Woollen Mill and three restaurants: Old Pines, Old Station Restaurant and Smiddy House. Less than 6 miles away, Nevis Range offers skiing and snowboarding in winter and mountain biking in the summer.

We are just back from a 4 night stay, (eventually) what an amazing hidden Gem we found Burnbank Lodges to be, Nina and Campbell were so understanding as we had to move our stay dates twice, we arrived driving down the leafy road and found our Lodge immaculately clean, living/lounge area was very well equipped with comfy sofa, dining table, all kitchen utensils and cleaning products supplied, flat screen TV and nice touch lamp at hand, the bathroom was spotless clean and a very nice power shower, with endless hot water- very unusual as most places run cold 2 minutes into your shower, toiletries

Really enjoyed our stay at Burnbank Lodges. Lodges are fairly basic but have everything you need. Hosts were very efficient and great communication from them before our stay, the online guest information was very helpful.
The most important thing is that it was in beautiful surroundings and very peaceful (just what we wanted). Loved sitting in the living room looking out at the trees and river.

Just back from a three night stay at Burnbank. We were recommended the area by family and had initially hoped to visit September 2020 but covid put a stop to that. It was very much worth the wait!
We had two lodges next to each other and they were just what we needed. There is a well equipped kitchen, comfy sofa, TV and table in the main room, a comfy bed with good wardrobe space in the bedroom and a bathroom with electric shower, basin and loo. The shower was warm and powerful which goes against my experience of some electric showers!!
The site felt safe to be in, and there is a separate area

So glad we found this wee gem. Great base for exploring the Highlands. Excellent communication from Nina and Campbell prior to arrival and were quick to answer any queries whilst there, from how to open the balcony doors to providing taxi numbers. Lodge has all you need and in a lovely peaceful setting. There's on site laundry facilities. Would highly recommend.

We're just back from a few days at this beautiful place and I honestly couldn't fault a thing. The lodges are great with amazing views and have everything you need, and you're just a short walk from the village and about a 10 minute drive from Fort William/the Nevis range. I really hope we can get back soon!

Great place!
The hosts were kind and friendly. Our lodge was quiet, clean, with everything you need for a short stay.
It is close by to all attractions, it's the perfect location to explore the Highlands. A few lodges are dog friendly, so we were able to bring our dog with us, making a perfect family holiday. Some nice and welcoming amenities such as biscuits, teas and hot chocolate were waiting for us!
Book, you won't regret it!!

SUPERIOR WOODLAND DOUBLE LODGE11
Nice surprise to find we were the first to use the newly re-fitted lodge. Everything was first class, we really enjoyed our stay. Due to this particular lodges location, perhaps the only very slight downside compared to some of the others was no balcony and the outside seating area wasn't very enticing. Overall though you would not be disappointed, everything you could need, immaculately clean and fully functioning.

Just spent three nights at Burnbank Lodges. From the initial booking to a follow up e-mail when we were home, it was a pleasure to deal with Nina and Campbell. The electronic guest book they sent prior to our visit was a great help. Lots of helpful information in it regarding the lodge but also a lot about activities, eating places etc. We travelled by train and the station is only a short walk from the lodges. First impressions when we reached our Riverside Lodge No 5 was what a lovely tranquil spot. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean. A nice touch was various teas, coffee, hot chocolate and
