Our holiday lodges and chalets are nestled amongst ancient woodland with spectacular views of Ben Nevis. Red squirrels and Roe deer can be seen on site. The six 2 bedroom self-catering lodges and two large 4/5 bedroom lodges are situated on a 500-acre working highland farm bordered by the river Lochy.

Livestock includes ponies, Highland cattle, 150 Lleyn sheep and hens. Great Glen Holidays are located only 3 miles from Fort William (The Outdoor Capital of the UK). There is easy access to Ben Nevis and the Nevis Range for skiing and mountain bike trails. The river Lochy is perfect for fishing and kayaking.

There are six self-catering chalets well-spaced out amongst pine trees with superb views of three of the highest mountains in the British Isles.
Your holiday bookings can be made online using the booking calendars at the bottom of the property pages. Great Glen Chalets are let on a weekly basis Saturday - Saturday in the months of July & August. They can be booked for a minimum 3 day stay in all other months - any 3 days is OK and this can be done by choosing your dates on the availability chart.
The Farm is 550 acres of hill, woodland and river flats bounded to the North by the River Lochy. We have a small Highland fold of 30 cows and calves, 150 Cheviot x Llwyn ewes and a Highland pony stud and various sports horses. We usually have farm eggs for sale.

There are scenic walks down to the river Lochy and along the banks where you may see indigenous wildlife including roe deer, red deer, buzzards, pine martens, red squirrels, woodcock, oyster catchers and Canada geese. The mixture of natural woodland, open moorland and riverbanks creates a wonderful habitat for a variety of deciduous and coniferous trees, wild mushrooms and fungi, wild flowers and butterflies.
The Fort William and Lochaber area has been designated the "Outdoor Capital of the UK" and with good reason. The stunning scenery - mountains, glens, lochs, and coastline make the area a paradise for visitors interested in outdoor pursuits. Whether its walking, climbing, skiing, fishing, canoeing, sailing, wildlife or just sightseeing and relaxation your seeking, there is plenty to keep you entertained.

This lodge is not "accessible to everyone" as stated on their website. If you are disabled, there is no walk in shower. Both the showers are over the baths which are high. The log cabin is very tired and in need of a revamp. Door on kitchen unit does not close, making it awkward to use dishwasher. There are loose paving at patio doors and also beside the ramp. The front was hanging off one of the baths. The upper floor double bedroom is not en-suite as stated on video. Some china, glasses and cutlery were dirty and there was not a complete set of anything. Not 5 star as stated on website. however
