The Raven Hall Hotel is one of those places that will keep drawing you back for more. Our Ravenscar hotel is perfectly located on the North Yorkshire coast and gives you the ideal base to explore this beautiful part of England. Services
Until Raven Hall (which was formerly known as Peak Hall) was built in 1774, Ravenscar was a scattered hamlet of farm buildings. Staintondale was the main community in the area. However, there was in 1540 a large farm known as Peak house on the site of the 5th-century Roman fort, owned by a Mr John Beswick and his family.
51 en suite bedrooms in the main Hotel, including some Bay View rooms and Premier rooms and 3 new Loft Suites (supplement payable). We also have one fully equipped disabled room, single rooms, family rooms, interconnecting rooms, and a limited number of dogs welcome in selected rooms. Please note we operate a no smoking policy throughout the Hotel.
If you are searching for a unique and alternative option for Robin Hood's Bay accommodation, why not take a look at our exclusive holiday lodges? With fantastic views overlooking Robin Hood's Bay and across the North Yorkshire coast, our eight exclusive, environmentally-friendly lodges are the perfect option.
We have four Bay Studio Lodges in total. Inside you can enjoy your own kitchenette, private bathroom and a log burner for those cold nights. Outside you'll have your own, private patio with a table and chairs and views across Robin Hood's Bay and the Moors. One of our Bay Studio lodges is accessible with disabled facilities.
Our two Moors lodges can offer a level up from the Bay Studios, with two floors of luxury to enjoy. Like the Bay Studios, you'll have a kitchenette, private bathroom, log burner and patio but you'll also have a comfortable living area upstairs with a balcony. The 2 lodges comprise a lounge with sofa and armchairs, small dining table, TV, a log burning stove, also a pull down double wall bed.

Great food and great service, bar prices were very reasonable ( I was expecting higher) and it was very quiet for the time of year. Worth the trip out. Would have liked to have walked around the grounds more but it was too cold 😬

Had a lovely 3 night stay there this week. Staff all very helpful and attentive. Would have been 5 stars but for the menu being largely unaltered every night. The sausages and bacon at breakfast were cooked perfectly for me!!

Lovely location, views and amenities. The restaurant food was great. Some of the corridors are a bit dated looking and the bedding was not ideal. There was no fitted sheet only a flat sheet and the duvet cover didn't quite fit.

Visited this hotel for a wedding and stayed over night in the hotel. What an absolute stunning place this is! Views are spectacular, service excellent, just really lovely and accommodating staff.
Wedding was absolutely perfect, great venue, excellent food and not bad priced drinks on the bar. Couldn't really fault it! We had an excellent room with stunning views, bit dated but adds to the character. Good comfy sleep, nice shower and a lush breakfast. Definitely worth a visit, we will return and think we'll try a night in one of the lodges as they look incredible on the top of the cliff over looking

Would definitely recommend this hotel for a wedding venue, breathtaking views, superb, food, staff. The hotel were very helpful in rearranged dates due to covid restrictions... Three date changes over 15 month period!! Great outside ceremony. If weather is not good... Inside ceremony would be fine....... Even the weather was brilliant....... Buffet breakfast very tasty.... Local produce.
