Built in 1855 our beautifully restored Victorian guest house is superbly positioned on Scarborough's North Bay with unrivalled panoramic sea views. It has been owned and run by the Davies family for 15 years. 2018 has seen the baton passed to Jamie who will continue to be assisted by Tony and Elaine.
Our guest house is within walking distance of Scarborough town centre and the North & South Bay beaches. Our guest house has a 4 Star status and offers a wide variety of very comfortable accommodation - most with sea views. All 12 bedrooms are en-suite and have recently been tastefully upgraded. Our rooms are well maintained and have flat screen TV, refreshment trays which are restocked daily and a comprehensive information folder.

We thoroughly enjoyed a chilled out weekend 21st Oct for three nights. Loved room 4 with a gorgeous view of the North Bay from Scalby Mill to the Castle. The breakfasts were plenty enough to keep is going until teatime, with plenty of choice on the menu. Jamie and his staff were welcoming with nothing too much trouble. Easy check in and out with Covid measures in place. Spotlessly clean too. Definitely a great place to return to.

From start to finish of our stay we had a fantastic time .Everywhere is spotless the breakfasts are lovely all fresh produce and freshly cooked .Staff are all very welcoming and helpful. Superb location 10 minutes walk to South Bay and similar to shopping centre .Overlooking the sea , we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully revisit .

We had a lovely stay at La Baia and in general in Scarbourogh for a few nights.
The owners and staff were all very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was delicious, we had the full English, also fruit salad which was a lovely surprise of fresh fruit - strawberries, banana slices and grapes, most hotels its just tinned!
The bedroom was very comfortable. We had a room at the back on the 2nd floor, so though there wasn't a direct sea view over the north bay, there was a view just to the side of the south view over the rooftops. Considering this, the only thing I would say is that I was confused

A lovely hotel in a nice quiet area looking out into the sea. So relaxing to wake up to! The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly. I would recommend this to anyone who stays in Scarborough. We only stayed for one night but didn't want to leave! The room was nicely decorated with comfy and cosy furnishings. The bathroom was clean and modern. The only problem we had was with parking. There were no spaces outside the hotel so had to park nearly 2 miles down the road so it was a bit of a trek.
