Our tastefully refurbished Sea View Lounge is the perfect place to sit and read the papers, watch television or simply relax and admire the wonderful view of Scarborough's North Bay. A small selection of books and games are available. Wireless Broadband is available free of charge. We are licensed to sell alcohol and an 'Honesty Bar' is provided in the lounge for guests.

Not impressed, we booked a superior room, but was so disappointed, we had a well used double bed with hard pillows, small tv, small towels, two seats without springs, single wardrobe in a not so very spacious room. We had to collect our milk tea coffee and sugar etc every evening from the lobby at the bottom of the stairs, oh! and stairs we'll their is plenty of those, especially if your on the top floor, parking is a nightmare, driving round and around the block until a space becomes available.

Just come back from a few days break here. What a beautiful B&B this is. Sarah and Darrel are lovely people and keep this place immaculately clean. We had a sea view room and couldn't find fault at all. Dont understand how anyone can give this place a negative review!!!! Seafront location with stunning views. Breakfast is pre ordered the night before which wasn't a problem at all and the food was gorgeous and cooked exactly how you requested it. The lady who served breakfast was lovely too. We would 100% stay here again and would highly recommend the Rockside to anyone 😀

Room was slightly tighter than I thought it would be. However the view was just perfect. Breakfast was okay there was a fair amount of options however you do have to order the evening before and was no beans with the cooked breakfast so made it a little dry. Staff very friendly and helpful. Honesty bar was also a nice touch.

POOR STANDARD OVERALL FOR PRICE PAID
Very over priced as the standard of the hotel was not even worth a 1 star. Small double room and small shower room not big enough for 2 adults. No shelving for toiletries and no complimentary toiletries provided. We paid £110 per night. General atmosphere of the hotel unwelcoming. Had to fill a form in for breakfast the night before by 8 pm. We forgot to do this first night and consequently NO BREAKFAST!!! A courtesy call by the staff would have been sufficient. The next morning we made breakfast and what a disappointment it was. No taste to any of the food
