At Belmont view we pride ourselves on providing the very best care as we know this is what matters to the people who live with us and their families. We do this through patience, empathy and compassion. To us, everyone is an individual with their own specific requirements and we tailor our services to ensure each person can lead a purposeful life in a home from home environment.
Belmont View has a highly experienced care and management team working alongside staff within all departments, all of which are committed to providing the highest standard of personalised care. Although the surroundings may appear unfamiliar to you or a loved one, our team will help you to feel as comfortable as possible.
Resident's feedback and requests are incorporated into the menu. Our in house cook provides fresh, home cooked meals and caters for all special dietary needs or requests. Snacks, light meals and drinks are available throughout the day on request. We encourage residents to eat within the dining rooms as a social activity, but residents are free to eat meals in their own private rooms if preferred.
There is one quiet lounge on each floor. Each lounge area offers fantastic views of the cricket club, the Cleveland Hills or Guisborough town centre. Both lounges on the ground floor have access to garden areas. The sunroom on the ground floor has access to a large outdoor patio area, with various seating available and seasonal flower beds.
Arrangements can be made for visitors to stay overnight in the service users room if requested. Residents and Relative's Forums are held on a regular basis in the home. Notices showing times and dates will be posted in the information folder held on each floor. Clothing parties can be arranged in the home twice a year based on winter and summer clothing requirements.

Both my parents lived in Belmont view for a number of years and I can not praise the ethos, the staff or the building enough. It is a diamond in the rough.
It feels like the staff work in the people's home rather than the people being at their place of work and this makes a massive difference to happiness and respect :)
