Services
Hill Care was established 20 years ago by John Hill who bought his first care home, Burton Closes Hall in Bakewell. The intervening years have seen a series of expansions and Hill Care now operates 38 care homes across the North of England. Our management team has the knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to ensure that the very highest standards of care are provided.
Privacy - we ensure all our residents have the right to be undisturbed whenever they wish, and where possible to manage their own affairs. Dignity - we treat each resident as a valued individual to maintain their dignity and effectively fulfil their wishes. Choice - we ensure every individual gets the right help and support which enables them to make choices and express preferences.
Many of us take our health for granted on a daily basis. Care is not something that people generally think about; until they need it. We understand this and recognise that when the time does come to consider care homes for a loved one, it is a very difficult and strange time for the entire family unit.
In order to maintain the very highest standards of care, we ensure that our team are trained and qualified to care for our residents.
All Home Managers are either qualified nurses or qualified to NVQ Level 4 in Management and Care, and all of our team members are qualified in Care to a minimum NVQ Level 2. As well as running an intensive induction programme, we provide internal training in statutory subjects such as Safer People Handling, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, and Health and Safety.

Hill Care offers local communities a range of specialist care which includes residential, nursing and dedicated dementia care suites. Our residential care homes are beautifully furnished and have enjoyed recent refurbishment.
