Acaster Boarding is based in Garforth, Leeds. We make every effort to ensure that their stay with us is a happy and a contented one. Due to our size we are able to give the individual attention to our guests that the larger establishments can't achieve. After all the good reviews, we decided to give it a try for our nearly 13 year old cat. After just a week there, she has lost 300gr and has came home with diarrhoea. How is that even possible when I left her with her own food and clear and easy instructions to feed her? Not only that, when I asked if she could have her pain medication, as an old cat is struggling with arthritis. Adele assured me that it was no problem. But clearly it has not been the case because she has started to be very vocal at night as she used to before the treatment. On top of everything, their son greeted me on the collection

This was a new cattery for our selves to entrust our three cats, but did not need to worry.
Got reassurance from seeing the clean luxury accommodation they would be staying in. Even had a radio playing in the background to make them feel at home.
We have already booked two more stays for when we are taking future trips. We are happy to leave our fur babies here.

We have used Acaster now for the last couple of years. And if we had known about them before I would of been using them all.my life.
They are everything you want in a kennels. Tim.and his family are exceptional with our 2 dogs and cat. And I wouldn't want anyone else looking after them whilst we are away.
The rooms where the dogs and cats are kept are better then most hotel rooms with underfloor heating and tv and radios too.
Very well priced for the attention and care the animals get.
Still currently in Tenerife and am sat here in the knowledge that my animals are in the best hands without

Both our cats were booked in for nearly two weeks, and I could tell they were well looked after. Whilst we were away, Tim (the owner) communicated well & kept us reassured they were fine.
Despite all the cats to take care of, the cattery was clean and the other animals were well looked after.
We’ve already booked our cats in for September when we’re due on holiday again😁

Brought my young cat Kiki here for a 5 day stay and picked her up today. The cattery is lovely and clean and I love that each room has it's own enclosed balcony! Kiki has been to another cattery previously and wasnt herself at all for a few days after we picked her up; however acaster have really looked after her and shes pretty much back to her usual self already and we only picked her up a couple of hours ago. You can tell that they really care about the animals in their care and I have already booked her in for another stay!

Boris my feisty rescue cat has always been really happy staying with Tim and Adele, and they have taken time to learn his many "funny little ways"
It's a half hour drive to take him, but I know he is settled, well cared for, and in far smarter accommodation than at home!
The cattery isn't huge which means all the cats get loads of attention, but it also means you need to be organised with booking especially during peak holiday season. Tim and Adel are really accommodating, and will always try to fit us in when I have a short notice request.

We love this cattery - so did our cat Pancake! Top service and top welfare for our fluffy friend. Tim keeps you well updated and happy to send you pics whilst you are away and missing your furry friend. We've moved house a bit further away now but we would still travel to put our fur baby here because he know he is so well looked after!
