The family run Gilead House Farm Boarding Kennels, Cattery and Livery Stables have been caring for animals from around Leeds for over 30 years. The purpose built, modern Kennels and Cattery has the perfect countryside backdrop for your pets holiday on our fully working farm, which is also home to 30 Livery horses.

5🌟 Picked up Bessiebull! And think she wanted to stay 😃 So that for us made us feel so much happier Tom was very professional and replied to all of my messages Zoey was welcoming when we arrived, and made a fuss of Bessie and showed us where she was staying ect Meal plans were exchanged and noted. Bessie will definitely return for her jolly’s real soon, and definitely recommend to family and friends Thankyou guys x

Our 21year old cat stayed again for a week whilst we were away. Tom and his wife are brilliant!! They look after her so very well and pander to her every whim! I know that she is always cared for so very carefully with lots of loves and cuddles. I can not say enough in praise, this is a 5 star cattery.

Another excellent stay for my boys Johnny and Jethro. Can't praise this cattery enough. I never have to worry about the boys while I'm away as I know they are quite content with Zoe and the team looking after them. Lovely clean place with large housing area. They love that their beds are raised off the floor and all the cuddles and attention that they get while they're there. Would definitely recommend

We have used the cattery for our two moggie's multiple times now. The owners are exceptional. They are professional and very caring of the animals in their care. One one occasion one of our cats had to go to the vet while we were on holiday. She had cystitis which can be serious/deadly if left untreated. They knew the early warning signs and immediately whisked her off to the vet for medication. They sorted everything, kept us updated, separated her from our other moggie to monitor her health and allowed us to carry on our holiday stress free with the knowledge she was getting exceptional care

My cat has been here few times now from young kitten to cat . They are very caring towards all the animals in their care. I love their new adjusted cattery. My cat is more of a night time eater and the staff very kindly(without me having to ask) hid extra food in my cats cage at night for her to find throughout the night which my cat did find and ate so i assume my cat was very happy with that service and im impressed too. Always very clean, staff always polite, my cat always comes back happy and healthy. Thank you.

Our Pug boarded at Gilead House Farm for 4 nights. She was so well looked after by the staff and got lots of cuddles. The kennels are very clean and each dog is kept in it's own kennel with access to their own outdoor area during the day. They have a bed with a heated pad to sleep on. It was our Pugs first time in kennels so I text for an update on how she was doing. I received a text back from the staff with a lovely, reassuring update. It put my mind at rest. When I went to pick her up she was happily played on her heated bed. She looked very healthy and well cared for. I would definitely recommend

Just picked up my sprollie Penny today. We decided to try this place after our usual kennels changed management and went down hill. This was recommended on some of the dog pages on Facebook. So glad we chose this place Penny seemed much happier there, clearly well exercised and they also mentioned playing with her and how she would bring toys back… to be thrown, let us know how she settled in and said she was a joy to have there. As we took her out of the kennels she tried to pull towards one of the fields where she had been walked as if she wanted to show us, then she saw the other owner

Just picked Lula and Diego up from the kennels and must say they’ve been very well cared for. Bedding all washed and ready to bring home. Fussy diets were catered for(we brought our own) and Diego drank his… water from his “special “ China dish 😀 Got a phone call during the hols to update us on their stay. Would definitely bring my babies here again and thank you to the friendly staff x

After years of taking my dogs to another local kennels and been disgusted at the state of the kennels and the appalling state my poor dogs came home in the last time they went, i decided to give Gilead a try. I found the owners just so lovely. The kennels are absolutely spottles and smell clean, the dogs get a heat mat for their beds in case its a… cold night and the owners actually go to see them for cuddle time which is so lovely. The dogs also get a nice walk each day across the fields.I am so very glad i chose to use Gilead , my dogs came home happy and in lovely condition, i will definitely
