Please remember to cancel your appointment if you no longer need it. This can be done via the phone or online using Patient Access. Remembering to cancel your appointment means that another patient is able to be seen and will help with access. Thank you There is now a free shuttle bus that runs from the new bus Interchange to the Town Hall.

Services
The surgery is also closed for staff development once a month; exact details can be found on the Half-Day Closures tab above. If you are registered at City Walls Medical Centre, you can book a routine appointment outside our opening hours. For urgent minor conditions you can visit the Primary Care Unit at the Countess of Chester, accessed via the A&E entrance.
After gathering feedback from patients, it was requested that we share a simple summary of our appointment system. Urgent appointments and home visits become available to book at 8am each morning (excluding weekends) unless otherwise stated. Pre-bookable routine appointments are available to book after 10am.
Here you will find details on how to use Patient Access and the myGP app. Both services offer similar features but the myGP app allows the practice to easily communicate with its patients. You must apply to register for this service yourself. We cannot accept applications on your behalf unless you have written to the practice to nominate someone to act for you.
If you reside within Wales (outside our Inner (red) practice area), you will need to register with a practice in Wales as guidelines for NHS England do not apply. This involves an easy to use machine that will guide you through taking readings such as your height and weight to calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) and your blood pressure.
The medical centre car park (patients only, for the duration of the appointment) is accessible via Sens Close, with two "Disabled" bays (Blue Badge holders only). There is a charge of 1 to use the car park. At peak session times, when the car park is full, alternative parking is available nearby (Trinity Street) - a charge is payable.
