Set in the heart of Romsey on the edge of the New Forest, Edwina Mountbatten House is owned and operated by the Countess Mountbatten of Burma Romsey Memorial Trust, a not for profit organisation.
It was founded in memory of Edwina Mountbatten, 1st Countess Mountbatten of Burma and was established by the generosity of the Mountbatten family, the people of Hampshire, Hampshire County Council and many other supporters, to commemorate her life of dedication to the service of others.Management of the home is actively overseen by the Board of Trustees.

We offer 16 ground floor single occupancy bedrooms, (3 ensuite) with wash basin and serviced by WCs and bath or shower rooms within a few steps of the door. There are 4 first floor bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, served by a stairlift. All rooms are individually decorated prior to arrival, having new replacement double glazing, opening onto the garden or courtyard garden.
We provide residential care within 20 single occupancy rooms and can offer short periods of respite and day care. Providing 24/7, 365 assisted living care, each resident's care plan is tailored to their individual needs and they are encouraged to participate in its development with the involvement of family and friends.
We're looking for someone to head up our residential care home to provide the highest levels of care to our residents, some of whom are living with dementia. Reporting to the board of Trustees, you will be responsible for all aspects of running our residents' home, ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory and legal requirements.
