I've only been here a handful of times due to me not spending as much time as I'd like in Manchester ... plus I always feel I need to save up to go here because I always want to buy the amazing Manchester blend coffee because it combines my 2 favourite things ... Manchester .. and coffee.
It can be a little hard to find if you don't know but if you were to come out of deansgate station, turn left and left again and then your next left and carry on walking .. you'll find it. You'll smell the roaster first and then see it.
Great little place with the roaster 1 side and

I want every coffee experience to be like this. Great coffee and a fantastic aroma/atmosphere from the second you walk in! The staff is friendly and it's just a great plus to be able to see working at the roasters right next door as well! Simply delicious.

Best place for fresh coffee beans. One side is a roaster and the other is the cafe. You can always buy a drink at the cafe before deciding to buy their beans. People here are friendly and helpful.

This coffee was spectacular. The deep flavor came through in the cappuccino and the dark chocolate flavor of the mocha came through without being too sweet. Add in the Hitchcock posters on the wall and I give this place an A++.

Manchester Artisan Coffee Shop. This little gem is tucked away underneath the archway, where you will be greeted by staff who know their coffee beans. They serve coffee with soya and coconut milk too, plus you can buy freshly ground coffee beans!

Tucked away on a bit of a side street- I initially walked past without seeing - it's a delightful little shop and coffee roaster, complete with pastries and sandwiches. I had a lovely Costa Rican filter coffee made to order, and enjoyed it so much I ordered another for takeaway. Reasonably priced as far as I could tell, also. I'm addition, they have a wonderful selection of Alien Corset movie posters from the Castro Theatre in San Francisco, which is a great addition to the ambiance.

What a coffee! This place has undoubtedly all the required characteristics to become my new favourite coffee shop in Manchester. Of course, the main requirement is that coffee must be superb. Probably this is also due to the fact that ManCoCo bar lives inside a coffee roastery, so their products must be freshly prepared.

This place was warmly recommended by a friend, so I actively looked for it; I don't think I would have randomly ended up there otherwise. In fact the entrance is on a seemingly dodgy alley close to Deansgate station, with no other businesses whatsoever.
Once in, it looks

Truly best coffee in manchester. The staff are highly knowledgeable in coffee makes and bean flavours. I love the fact that they have many sources of beans, and i have tried them all. They package beans for home. You can have whole bean or ground, depending on what kind of machine you use. The reason why their beans are so fresh is because they process the beans in house. This means they get their beans fresh and green and they turn them into the brown filled caffeine fuel that we all love. Another plus which i love in this place is they have different types of beans in the espresso machine to

TL;DR - Hidden gem and a coffee lover's dream come true.

This is less of a coffee shop and more of a coffee business - they import, roast and grind coffee here and the whole place feels somewhere between a coffee shop, office and warehouse.

But all that is irrelevant - the coffee is marvelous! They'll prepare any of their many, many varieties for you as a filter coffee, or they usually have a couple of varieties available for espresso - so you can get your flat white fix if required. Don't just come here for a drink though - come here for a bag of coffee to take home, too.

I have been visiting Mancoco since Stuart opened the roastery a few years ago.

They have gone from strength to strength since then with the opening of the coffee shop and a recent refit.

The chaps know their stuff and are happy to chew that fat for hours on end about coffee.

The addition of lovely sandwiches and lots of gorgrous cakes from the Brownie Owl make me very lucky to have Mancoco just round the corner from the office.

Hidden away under an arch on Hewitt Street is the Mancoco Roastery and coffee shop. It's in a great location to walk to from Deansgate tram stop and grab a coffee on the walk to HOME or the universities.

Quite a small coffee shop side, but they clearly do most of their business through the roastery and local office trade. They make a great flat white.

Very friendly staff. They asked about my weekend and when I mentioned I'd been to Heaton Hops on Friday, they offered up the tidbit that they have recently collaborated on a Coffee Stout with TicketyBrew which I can't wait to try
