Moose Coffee
Moose Coffee was founded in 2006. The concept grew from a love for the great American breakfast culture and nowhere does it better than the diners & delis of New York City. Our aim is to provide an American Diner influenced breakfast and brunch experience with an authentic short order menu and premium espresso based coffee!
Services
PLEASE NOTE Like many businesses we have in recent weeks struggled to recruit kitchen team members we need to provide the best service we possibly can. We have taken the decision to close our York St kitchen for the next few weeks in order to complete a full kitchen refit and also train our new starters.
At Moose we feel we have a duty to use our resources and assets to drive social and environmental change. As a small business we are keen to develop methods of support for charitable causes and environmental campaigns that are a fit to Moose's values and philanthropic focus. We aim to empower staff, customers, suppliers and stakeholders to engage in fundraising activities.
We are delighted to announce that we are partnering up with the Mare Nostrum Foundation, an Ecuadorian foundation that is supporting a shark research study throughout various parts of the Galapagos. This research uses drones to study juvenile scalloped hammerhead sharks (Critically Endangered) and blacktip reef sharks (Near Threatened), along with the spatial area that they occupy while they are young, commonly known as a nursery area.
We are dedicated to setting and achieving realistic targets to reduce our environmental impact by 2023. Climate change is real and at Moose Coffee we understand the importance of sustainability, as a business we have a corporate, social and ethical responsibility to do our bit to help the environment.
We are proud of our long lasting relationships with our suppliers, over the 12 years we have been in business we have used local and ethical suppliers based in and around the North West wherever possible. It's great to support the local economy but helps the environment too through the reduction of our carbon footprint.

Bought a cappuccino and sat outside. Didn't have a large vegan/veg menu but it was alright. This was the closest to a veg English breakfast. Not awful but not the best either.

Delicious US/Canadian breakfast cafe. Walk ins only at this location on York Street. Staff were polite and attentive and we only had a 10 minute wait on a Friday late morning. Good is plentiful so come hungry!
Fairly priced and drinks are of good quality too.

Food was good ( just to say big thanks to the chef) but the service wasn't good. as we finished our meal we ordered more drinks. But 10 minutes later they gave us our bill!! Just find it they are in a rush to get us out of the restaurant. not even started to drink our coffee one waitress bring out the card machine., then another one after 10 minutes 😞 We already told the first waitress we were paying cash! Service needs a bit of improvement and communications between them!

Waiting time wasn't the fastest, we waited about 35 minutes for our order for two however, the booth seating was satisfying and the staff were very friendly and attentive.
As far as the food goes I was full but the taste wasn't anything way above average.
(The Moose style hot chocolate was banging)👌🏽
The menu has a lot of interesting different options however, can be limited if you don't consume pork as there is no halal option / replacement e.g.Turkey bacon.
This is surprising as turkey bacon is very famous in Canada. Overall 3.5⭐

BEST BRUNCH I'VE HAD IN MCR SO FAR!
Me and my partner went Moose Coffee had brunch today. It was quite busy as we went there around lunch time, and we were waiting for 30 mins.
Turned out it's worth to wait!
We had salty caramel latte, bronx brunch, lone star moose and pancake streaky bacon.
- Salty Caramel Latte
It was the special drink that recommended by the staff, with cream or without by choice.
If you prefer more milky flavor, you should choose with cream; if you feel fat like I do, then no cream 😂 with or without cream both taste great anyways!

We were three of us and had honeycomb latte, orange juices, pancakes, bronx brunch and lone star moose. Quality and quantity of the food worth the price. Definitely we'll be back there. Nice and welcoming staff. 5 stars and maybe more. Can't wait to eat there again.

One of the best spots for a real good breakfast! The portions are great for the prices and they offer the best waffles and crispy bacon. If you get a chance, definitely try the fresh mint tea with honey. My favourite has to be the scrambled eggs with the smoked salmon with a side of avocados. Amazing services and great food every single time!!! Must visit

We went to Moose Coffee withheld four of us on a short trip to Manchester. The place is buzzing, the coffee excellent, the service friendly and we had four great breakfasts. In itself good enough to deserve a rating of 5/5. The reason we score 4/5 is that all four dishes were very rich to the extent we hesitate to come back the next day. Put a couple of simpler dishes (eggs, bacon & toast e.g.) on the menu and the place is perfect.

I've had the pancakes and French toast here before and both are pretty good, so for my last trip here I ordered the Belgian waffles. I should have known by the fact that it described them as "Two hot Belgian waffles" as opposed to "two homemade Belgian waffles" like the homemade pancakes are. Also, I should have known because of the lower price of around £5. As an American, I know what a good homemade waffle tastes like. Sadly, the sugar inside the waffles made me realize they were the hard waffles that are for sale at Tesco. Basically like if I ordered waffles in the

This cafe is super popular and has an extensive menu with ample seating inside and outside. Prices are good value, especially for being in City centre.

Our breakfast dishes were generously portioned and were very good.

My poached eggs with spinach was excellent, hubby loved the honey flat white and the kids meal was very good!

Solid breakfast food. Plenty of English and American choices.

We came to Moose Coffee hoping to get an exceptional breakfast for a good start to the day. "Isn't it pretty to think so?"

We were seated after half an hour, but then had to wait almost another hour before our food order finally arrived! Would you believe that for that whole time, no one bothered to come over to our table and explain why our order was taking so long?

Finally, to add insult to injury, a party that was seated half an hour after us got their food. With my patience exhausted, I demanded to speak to a manager. When he came to our table, he listened with no apparently

I have always imagined this to be yet another generic coffee shop...WRONG

Finishing a 12 hour night shift we came here to warm our cockles after being tossed about in the icy wind and rain.

The decor screams of moose, moosey antler chandeliers, moosey fine art , and one moose-infested menu. A hostess waved us to a cream leather booth..it sure felt like a posh Canadian diner..opening the menu, I could not find a single familiar dish.

I loved how everything was titled moosily..from Mighty Moose, Lone Moose, Veggie Moose..a lot of the dishes consisted of meat patties, maple bacon, pulled pork

Ok, another Manchester place that I need to upgrade. So I returned for breakfast and the place was a lot quieter, which meant there wasn't a horrific wait for food. Thank god!

I had the veggie mighty moose and shared a bowl of grits. Both were exceptional. The food here is so good and delicious, it's just heavenly. My only complaint would be that the menu is so ridiculously long that it takes ages to read and to decipher the difference between the dishes.

This was another good breakfast option during my stay in Manchester earlier this week. Large menu, good coffee and friendly staff. Not a lot more you can ask for your first meal of the day.

I went for the eggs Benedict and was happy to see that you were allowed to mix and match the options that are on offer with your eggs. I went for both Salam and bacon....for someone that can never make up their mind this is a really refreshing thing to see.

All of the food I had was well cooked, great poached eggs and the coffee had a decent flavour. A very solid start to any day. Worth a visit.

Before the Manchester sun even had a chance to rise we were in Moose Coffee and to my utter shock the staff were chipper and cheerful. This was an immediate positive for me as it meant two things, one - the service was going to be good and two - the coffee was strong.

Turn out those statements were both true as we sat down for an enjoyable breakfast at Moose Coffee. The decor and layout is great, there was around 10 of us an we managed to get a large table comfortably! The decor was very much moose themed although there was one curveball which was the luggage racks above the booths - the type

Well played Moose Coffee, you managed to convert me to actually enjoying Onions in my food.

Normally I ask for or pull Onions out of every single dish I eat, however foolishly on this occasion I forgot to ask for my Philly Cheesesteak to be Onion-less. Dun Dun Dunnnn.

Well it was amazing! Onions, Peppers, well cooked steak and lashings of cheese sauce, I was well and truly stuffed after it!

I also had a flat white and a nice smoothie (bottled not fresh) while waiting for my friend to show up! Not a bad spot to kill some time and for me get some work done, however they don't have wifi!

Breakfast part 1 a blueberry pancakes with maple syrup... Oh dear baby Jesus this almost ended me... So thick and filling, the flavour was lovely and the warm pancakes went down a treat with the maple syrup. I only wish they did a 'single pancake option' as a snack as 3 of these bad boys was just massive and have killed my second course plans...

I have been defeated and this is not an easy feat! I feel deep shame for myself and have brought shame upon my family...

On a more 'reviewy' note... I adore this place - the 50s swing music moved with the wooden natural colour and

One morning in Manchester, sooo many places to choose from. After reading the glowing reviews on Yelp and through word of mouth I thought I would head here for breakfast and it certainly lived up to the hype.

The breakfast/brunch selection is extensive and served all day which is a bonus! There is everything you could want including more traditional breakfasts like porridge to pancakes and home baked potato hash. I chose 'Cortes' which was scrambled egg with chorizo and it was absolutely delicious! Generous serving alongside a vanilla latte so I felt satisfyingly full afterwards!

Moose is quite simply a big fat slab of American & Canadian breakfast magnificence, tucked away off Mosley Street. The offerings here were so good that I went two weeks in a row and will be back again on Monday. They have one of the most extensive and intriguing all day breakfast/brunch menus I've ever seen.

On my first visit I was beside myself at the prospect of being able to mix any of their five Eggs Benedict dishes - the 'Tri-State Combo'. Served on a toasted bagel and at less than £8, it was hearty and delicious (the slow cooked pulled pork of the New Orleans Moose element

I love the interior of this diner/cafe/restaurant place. Moose antlers as chandeliers *Thumbs up* Feels like in Canada already ;)

The food was delicious and I can safely say that they provide the best pancakes in Manchester. The coffee did not disappoint either as I was quite surprised at the quality of their Americano (to go with the whole Northern American theme).

the customer service in short was outstanding (friendly and attentive) 5 out of 5.

Definitely one of the best places to have brunch in Manchester city centre!

So I ended up in town an hour early for a meeting today and as a result needed to waste some time, and fill my belly.
My meeting was on the next street to Moose Coffee so I thought, why not.

Very glad I did. Upon entering, the girl behind the counter smiled and just told me 'grab a seat, I'll be right over'. So I did, and she was.
I ordered a latte (£2.40) whilst I decided what to order for breakfast. It was 9am and the place wasn't busy at all.. 2 businessmen on the other side of the cafe and that was pretty much it.
The waitress returned with my latte and I ordered the

I was really impressed with the menu at Moose, which is extensive and features many delicious American brunch options. I was disappointed they had run out of salt beef as the Reuben sandwich sounded great, but I really enjoyed my "New Hampshire Moose" which is eggs benedict with smoked salmon (which actually has several alternative names including eggs atlantic and eggs royale, which I know because uh I may have read the Wikipedia page on eggs benedict on a previous occasion).

They also have milkshakes. Milkshakes are one of my favourite things in life and normally I get strawberry but
