Services
We are OFSTED registered and following the Early Years Foundation Stage set down by the Department for Education. The EYFS sets the standards for learning, development and care for children from birth to five.? It creates the framework for partnership working between parents and professionals, laying a secure foundation for learning and development.
If you require any further questions then please contact us. How does the setting know my child needs extra help and what should I do if I think my child may have Special Educational Needs? At Shepton Beauchamp Pre-School, each child is allocated a key worker. Their role is to develop trusting relationships with parents and children to enable respectful sharing of information.
Grant funded sessions (Early Years Entitlement - 15 Hour Funding) are available to all three and four year old children starting from the funding period after their third birthday. The Early Years Entitlement is for a maximum of 15 hours per week (at?4.00/hr). If claiming for the full 15 hours then it needs to be claimed over two or more days.
We had a prize for the overall winner and another for the Best Decorated egg. The children seemed to really enjoy this little event. Father Geoff was absolutely brilliant in engaging the children, he had some of them in stitches when he produced his bouncing egg (you had to be there?) So the eggs started their rolling in the giant sieve, the first stop had half the eggs cracked.
We have been making the most of these glorious autumn days and have been busy collecting some huge leaves and very shiny conkers to add to our autumn display in the hall. We really enjoyed taking part in the Shepton School Harvest Service in the church and listening to the harvest songs.?After half term our topics will be bonfires, fireworks and remembrance week.
