Services
We are family run business with a very honest and passionate approach to child care. We want to provide childcare that supports your little ones in becoming good citizens and well-rounded individuals by giving them the freedom that is needed in childhood to find their own identity and to learn about the world around them.
At Waverton Day Nurseries we support and encourage the children to learn and develop using the Early Years Foundation Stage as our framework. This is a play-based curriculum for children from birth to five years, which allows children to explore and learn in an environment that is secure and safe, yet challenging.
Our settings cater for all types of little taste buds and we are committed to offering a healthy, nutritious and well balanced menu. All meals are prepared on site daily by our nursery chef's. We have an emphasis on fresh locally sourced produce and we offer a variety of menus which are carefully planned & reviewed regularly to provide children with their 5 a day seasonal fruit and vegetables.
At Waverton Day Nurseries, we take the utmost care in selecting the right staff for our Settings. Our Management Team has over 30 years' experience within the childcare sector, and we are supported by a team of qualified, highly motivated and experienced nursery practitioners. We are all working together to achieve the same goal and that is to provide each child with the highest quality learning experiences.
At Waverton Day Nurseries, we endeavour to build strong relationships with the parents and carers of all the children who attend our nursery settings. We believe in an open door policy that values feedback forms from parents and carers. We recognise that as your child's primary care and educator, you know your child best.

I encountered serious prejudicial and verbal abuse from the "property owner" in the car park outside the property.
My crime!!! I pulled into the car park to send an e mail following a shock message regarding a hospital appointment for oesophrageal cancer.
The woman approached me and was aware I was not parked as I had merely got off the main road to a safe place...my engine wasn't even turned off.
She was aggressive and threatening and even with my identity tag being worn as part of my work she accused me of being a threat to the children in the building.
I want aware it was a nursery moreover

Based on the below review, I believe the nursery acted as I would expect to given the children in the building are her main priority and their parents priority too.
It's understandable that you believed to have parked in a safe place BUT, this is private grounds and the children's welfare must come first.
Lovely nursery, great staff, brilliant manager. Keep doing what you do Waverton!

My son has been attending Waverton house nursery for over a month now. He’s only just 8 months old and his development has been phenomenal. The staff are amazing and very professional. In regards to the review below I would expect nothing less of the staff at Waverton to enforce and ensure that our children are safe guarded to the highest of their abilities. I believe that the car park is signposted as private property therefore nobody without authorisation should attempt to access regardless of emotive circumstances. I would highly recommended this nursery to anybody.

Such a lovely nursery and they take such good care of my little boy who had a dairy and soya allergy. The chef taking time to make his special cakes and puddings. Even letting us take them home. Well deserves the outstanding badge.
