Little Cherubs Day Nursery

The job of caring for, and developing children, is the most important job in the world. This is particularly true for the Early Years age group, since brain growth between 0-3 years happens at a much greater rate than at any other time during life. This is the time the child is most receptive to learning and stimulation - by the time a child starts school most of the emotional and intellectual "wiring" of the brain has been set.

As part of our philosophy of family friendly childcare, we are very excited about this system which is rarely found in day nurseries. This is a CCTV and SECURE Webcam facility which allows parents to view live images of their children in the nursery during the day over the internet.

You can "drop in" at any time, helping to reassure you by letting you see for yourself how happy your child is at Little Cherubs, and giving you the opportunity to be more involved in your child's daily activities.Nursery Cam is video only, so no sound is heard. It is designed to allow parents to see their children from anywhere, be it at work, at home or on a business trip overseas.

We firmly believe that our staff are our most valuable asset. We choose them for their caring attitude, playful natures and dedication to childcare, as well as their experience and qualifications. Our knowledgeable and enthusiastic team gives our children the best chance to achieve their potential.

Leaving your child at nursery for the first time can be difficult for parents so our caring and dedicated baby room staff will help you every step of the way. Each baby has a nominated Key person who will build a special relationship with you and your child. The nursery places the very highest priority on parent partnership and it is paramount to us that you feel part of your child's development and growth.

We offer a more structured day for this age group with activities to stimulate their expanding minds, including imaginative play, creative activities and outdoor play. Early numeracy and writing is learnt through playing and music. At this point your child's confidence and social skills are increasing and we support them in this whenever we can.
