We would like to take this opportunity of welcoming you to Ash House Nursery and to explain the facilities we are able to offer to you and your children. Ash House Day Nursery is a family run nursery in a large detached building within spacious grounds, established as a Nursery since 1989. We are open 51 weeks per year, Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6.00pm.
Ash House Nursery is located near to Liscard Village with easy access to all bus routes, in close proximity to the M53 motorway and the Wallasey tunnel, making it an ideal position for serving the Wirral area. These are important formative years and it is our aim to provide a warm, stimulating and educational environment in which your child will feel happy and secure.

We care and educate children from the age of 6 weeks to 5 years of age. We offer both full and part time places and we provide support for children with individual needs. We also offer places for two, three and four-year old funded children. Each area is specifically designed to cater for the age and stage of development of the children in that area and is equipped accordingly.
Our self-contained Baby room offers a "Home from Home" environment in which the individual needs and routines of every child are followed to help with a smooth transition into the nursery setting. We aim to make your baby's day enjoyable, safe and stimulating and encourage their natural curiosity and creativity.
Our self-contained Tiny Tots room has a friendly and welcoming environment. Our main aim is to provide the children with the opportunity to learn through play, this large room is ideal for children to explore and gain independence now they have found their feet.
Practitioners support children to explore a variety of stimulating activities catered to their individual needs which allows them to gain an understanding of the world in which they live in.We make use of the local parks, libraries, beaches and shops, to ensure the children enjoy opportunities to explore our surrounding environment and investigate their community.

This area, situated on the first floor of the Nursery consists of a large play/activity room, with a separate messy play/arts and crafts room. A typical day would include a selection from the following: Art and craft, messy play, physical activities (indoor and out), colours and numbers, ring games, role-play, group activities, topic work, story time/quiet time, TV/discussion time, visits to local shops, beach, parks, libraries.
