Outstanding service as always! I recently had a routine eye test at Corsham Opticians and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. The entire team was kind and professional. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The optometrist who carried out the test was efficient and clearly explained my prescription.
We are located in the heart of Corsham town centre, at the pedestrianised end of the High Street next to Corsham Bookshop. Parking is available in the car park directly adjacent to the practice building, which is accessible off Pickwick Road just before The Methuen Arms Hotel. We are wheelchair accessible - but please do call if you have any concerns regarding accessibility.

After many years loyal to a high street chain of opticians I was not getting the answers to problems I was having. The person I saw at Corsham opticians explained what the problem was and how to rectify in a language I could understand. The eye test was thorough and at the end there was no pressure to purchase new glasses from them. A bit of a trek for me but worth it. Very happy with my new glasses. Excellent!

I made an appointment because I was concerned at my increasingly blurred vision since witnessing the sudden, traumatic death of my wife a couple of months previously.
Claustrophobic panic attacks meant that I was exempt from wearing a mask.
I sat and waited for about 10 minutes before the male optician came into the waiting room and asked if I had a mask. I informed him politely that I was exempt.
He immediately said that in that case he could not treat me and turned his back on me and walked away, clearly not wishing to talk about it.
I pointed out to him politely that he was in breach of

Outstanding service as always! I recently had a routine eye test at Corsham Opticians and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. The entire team was kind and professional. What a superb opticians! Due to my health condition I've been concerned about going out in public with conronavirus around, but Corsham opticians did everything in their power to make me feel comfortable. All the staff were kind, understanding and answered all my queries. What a lovely experience.

I can not believe my experience compared to others reviews.
Just moved into the area and committed to buying and supporting local businesses.
So I checked into my local opticians.
I was met with the loveliest receptionist when I signed up and another kind polite receptionist when I went for my first I test, today.
Only then to be met with the grumpiest and rude Optician I have ever met. I gave her a few minutes of my time and giving her the benefit of my doubt - thinking she was probably trying to cope with something else. So I sat down with her only to be told off, she was throwing her eyes

I booked my children in to have their eyes tested. We had a warm welcome by the receptionist and the gentleman we saw was really good with them; patient, friendly and efficient, taking the time to explain what he was doing and what the results of the tests were. He made it an enjoyable experience for them which will make future visits a pleasure, rather than something I have to drag them to! Highly recommended! I will be booking my next eye test with them too!

Just picked up my new specs. I am very pleased with them. The eye test was conducted professionally and the dispenser gave me confidence in her ability.
