A very good experience. Came with quite a complicated issue that other opticians had failed terribly to solve. Although costing a bit more, the advice, service and speed of production was second to none! Would highly recommend.....Don't waste your time with spec savers or vision express......many thanks for all your help

Ive been wearing glasses since I was 3. Yet even though my prescription is currently the worst its been, thanks to G&H, I now have the best sight ive ever experienced!
Im an extremely fussy customer, yet there was nothing I was left unsatisfied with. (This is quite an achievement)
There is very little they dont know about or can help with.
On top of that their Covid safety standards are better than any shop ive been in to date.
Do yourself a favour and get down there or just ring them up.

I have been a customer of G&H since I was 4/5 years old and I'm 41 now. I have never gone elsewhere and as long as they or I am around I wouldn't. The service has always been absolutely exceptional. The staff take time to get to know you and your requirements. I have literally never had a bad experience here and would recommend them to anyone. They always go the extra mile and nothing is too much trouble.

I haven't had my eyes tested in over 20 years. I booked without issue during Covid times. Everyone could not have been more helpful, they gave me a call a few days before my appointment to check I remembered and had it in my diary. An optometrist called Dee tested my eyes and was really very helpful. I will be sure to continue to use this opticians in the future. Thank you!

I have had a great experience with Goldsmith & Harvey in longwell green. I have been wearing glasses since I was 6 and only now, with very informative staff, do I understand what is happening with my vision. They made me feel very safe during lockdown with few people in the shop and lots of additional cleaning etc, plus I was able to have a good fitting, which friends have told me they missed out on from the places they went to. Also they gave me great advice on choosing glasses. I would reccomend this place to everyone.

I have been using these opticians for years, always professional and very helpful, when it comes to Eyesight I am very fussy, and Mark has given me a tremendous service, chose two pairs of Persol glasses and a week later they were ready, in a pandemic phenomenal time frame.
The glasses look amazing quality, and fully recommend to everyone that they go there for a test and glasses, unbeatable service.

Really impressed with the friendly and competent service. My first visit after years using a well known high street optician. They were OK but Goldsmith and Harvey are really good. Mark really helped with the sizing and fitting of my new frames which is important for comfort. I have worn varifocals for some years but this time I went for the Varilux personalised lenses. As a said to Mark, when I first put them on it was like looking at wide screen cinema - so different from my old lenses. Really good optician, thoroughly recommend.

Visited this store today and from the start I was made to feel welcome. Dee who did the examination was very professional, made me feel at ease and was reassuring. Referral being made for a cataract problem but again everything explained and it was interesting to see the images taken. Mark was so helpful in assisting me choose new frames and appropriate lenses and his advice was much appreciated. Mention must be made of the excellent way the staff dealt with sanitizing everything in line with the COVID regulations.
