Services
We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community. We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for.
Our Christian values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens. We focus on a variety of values (blue/grey words on the cross below when looking at a different theme every half term (green words on the cross).
At Cheapside we have a topic based curriculum and each class will be studying a different topic. Topics are planned by class teachers and designed to be engaging and appropriate to the age of the children. Topics are enhanced by trips, visitors, workshops and learning outdoors. Please take a look under the key information tab for more detailed information of each class topic.
Some of our equipment in Forest School is look rather tired and in need of replacement. We are in desperate need of some items in Forest School and in the allotment and wondered if anyone out there could help? As always we would also welcome donations of hot chocolate powder (powder that is mixed with water), biscuits, marshmallows and cotton wool for Forest School.
It's going to be a bit different this year as it will be a socially distanced meeting on zoom. The code and details will be sent out soon. If you would like to hear what we've been up to in the last year and what will be happening in the next year then please join us on zoom. We have a few changes within the committee team and a vacancy for a PTA secretary if anybody would like to step up and join our fab friendly team.
