Services
Eddleston Primary lies to the East of the beautiful rural Village of Eddleston, located at the end of Burnside Road. Entry to our school is through a welcoming and very spacious Reception Hall. The large teaching areas are open plan by design with Class Bays arranged around a central 'Interaction Area' which hosts an I.C.T Suite, learning area and well-resourced woodland themed Library.
At Eddleston Primary, we believe that a happy child is a successful child. We are committed to ensuring our core values are evident across all aspects of everyday life. We believe that education should take place in a fully inclusive environment with equal opportunities for all. Our school strives to be at the centre of the local community with positive and effective links to the wider and global communities.
At Eddleston we welcome opportunities to meet with any new, potential families who are considering enrolling their child at Eddleston. We are very keen to offer an in-depth and detailed tour of the school, where they can meet staff and pupils and where we can also share key information about the school and how we can cater for your child's individual learning/general needs.
Primary School menus have been developed to meet national nutritional standards set by the Scottish Government. Our recipes contain less fat, sugar and salt and are better balanced, healthier and more nutritious. If you would like more information on the school menu and the recipes we use please speak to our School Catering Assistant, Mrs McAllister.
Our official school colours are maroon and yellow. Order forms for school sweatshirts and fleeces with embroidered Eddleston Primary School crest and polo shirts are available from Mrs Mackenzie at the main School Office. Please note that indoor shoes are required so that pupils can change when they come in from the playground.
