The Ferry House has recently had a full renovation including the restaurant area and function suite, ensuring a comfortable visit for all our guests. We are delighted to offer freshly prepared food using local produce, real ales, and a friendly atmosphere awaits. We also run The Fox and Hounds pub at Willingham by Stow, were we also offer great food, traditional beers, modern en suite accommodation and a warm welcome.

We normally go in there sister pub at Willingham but was over that way so thought we would give them a try . Asked the bar maid what cask ales they had to which she replied Theakstons . Turned out to be keg not cask but was OK. Seems more of a food led operation with every table set for food which makes you feel uncomfortable sitting there not wanting to disturb the settings.
Large car park and outside seating area so will be back in the warmer weather with the dogs as plenty of dog walks near by .

Lovely carvery. Loads of choice, all vegetables were fresh and the Yorkshire puds are to die for. Friendly and polite staff, great atmosphere. Would highly recommend at a very reasonable price.

Never been before and the welcome was a bit short which I raised an eyebrow at but had a lovely time with the party I was with and the food was absolutely delicious plenty of it and it was so great to have gravy boats available so you could have as much gravy as you wish. Thank you we will be back... X

The carvery was average at best and unfortunately unbeknownst to us before visiting you couldn't get anything off of the regular menue if you was sat upstairs so if you don't like carvery then it's either tough luck or you sit downstairs separate from the rest of your group.
Pudding wise half of them was gone by around 3pm leaving half the table unsure of what to have and the chocolate fudge cake was somehow frozen in the middle?
Unfortunately we won't be going again

I found the inn very dull and depressing. The stating are near the bar is filthy. My was grandson was bitten by a flea whilst sitting on it also the food was ample portions sizes but the Yorkshire pudding was overcooked and the stewed beef was tough as old boots ,not cooked long enough. Apart from that the staff were ok ..
