Went in for a pint with a mate. Ok selection of beers but no food at the moment. Shame because we managed to book but didn't realise there was no food until we arrived. Polite friendly bar man though

Friendly, good atmosphere, several pints of recordalig cider were quaffed and my mate was knocking back Worthingtons. Music not to loud, footie on for the faithful and bar staff have a laugh. Recommended!

Lovely old style public house seems very clean good bear. Seems very backwards with its service and that's why I give it 3 stars as it wasn't the cheapest place around so I expected much more,
Wouldn't take card payment for 2 coffees and a bag of peanuts total of £5.00 sale.

Asked for bar food menu and we were told very abruptly kitchen isn't taking any orders because of a large table. Odd because the restaurant seemed very quiet. Drink prices were reasonable if that's

Friendly & inviting. Just what a good local village pub should be. Pool table, darts, table football & fruit machine on one side. Quiet area on the other side. Caters for all needs.
